Just on the right corner as you enter North Adelaide coming up the hill from the city, the outdoor area looks amazing.Brodlach wrote:Where is it, I’m looking for somewhere in North Adelaide for this Friday
Wellington, Queens Head and British are usually my favs.
North Adelaide is great for pub crawls, almost one on every corner.

Queen’ Head
British
Lord Melbourne
Kentish Arms
The Archer (is it open?)
The Oxford
Wellington
Royal Oak
Caledonian
Then there was the Daniel O’Connell in Tynte St which closed a few years ago & the Dover Castle in Archer St, it closed around 25 years ago, it’s still there as a residential. It was a great pub, I went out with a barmaid from there in the 90’s, but that’s another story…

The little rickshaw @ Aldinga
Asian fusion style, with the summer menu a mix of Japanese, Thai and Vietnamese.
We did the banquet as it was our 10 year anniversary.
Hands down the best dining experience I’ve had in a long time.
Do yourself a favour and book in, well in advance as it’s the hottest seat in town

Re: Restaurant & Pub Reviews
Lonestar at Christies
Garlic bread
Pork belly bites as entree - these are delicious
Rump
Scotch fillet
Both cooked nicely as requested- medium rare. Thought rump was a little chewy from my taste test.
Now, I've had a chip and a piece of my scotch fillet, clearly my plate is still full. When an enthusiastic "crew" member asks how the meals are.... I politely responded with, the bite I've had, it seems OK and he buggered off.

Re: Restaurant & Pub Reviews
Anyone know if a great place for lunch in McLaren Vale that isn’t a winery?
My suggestion of the Fruchos shop didn’t go down well.
