So true.....just the 'scale' of politics really hit home in recent weeks.
Like i don't have a beef with the Chinese. In fact, there is lots I like about Chinese culture. Call me simple but i have no interest in ruining each other's lives. They do them and I'll do me over here in the middle of nowhere.
What it has done is make think more about my family in particular might grandmother (east london did recall WW2 very vividly) and even my partner (born and lived in Belfast through the late 90's which is why she in Australia) what they went through.
