Do Mt Barker have a football team? I think the idea is for them to have a team in the SANFL, and then the facility would actually get used and have a permanent tennant.
They do have a team just not in the sanfl
The sanfl isn’t and will never be what it was

Relocating a shit show won’t fix the issue here

Thats the predicament West are in......a relocation is no guarantee but it may be the only shot they have. Hard to see Richmond Oval, that location, that suburb, that many teams in the region will be viable in a world where costs etc are only rising.

Maybe their only survival hope is the SANFL bail them out every year from now until.............

losing gfg as major sponsor will hit port and they maybe going cap in hand to the afl for some cash to cover the shortfall
