Re: Round 10 Central v Adelaide
Oh well, at least the 4,000 Crows supporters there would be enjoying it.
how old is that line ffs, build a bridge fella
Maybe that’s the attitude your club had when they opened their arms to welcome them in. We feel a bit different about that at the Ponderosa and maintain the rage.
i dont want either club in our comp, they were voted in 6-2 so there is no moral high ground to be had, but bringing up the 4000 crap is old and stale by about 10yrs ffs.........
I’ll make a note not to reference any material over 10 years old then. Other than Flags of course..

Re: Round 10 Central v Adelaide
Its no wonder Dog fans are particularly pissed at the whole AFL setup at present. We are the only Club who have lost players in all 4 AFL based drafts...
The actual draft (fair enough)
The pre-season draft (sort of fair enough, but makes it hard to find replacements for that player at that stage)
The mid season draft (not fair at all, and has taken out a match winner who WE had developed over the pre-season)
The appalling Koch-inspired supplementary draft (where we had Jezz McLennan enticed to Port promises which failed to materialise)
Its impossible to organically develop your playing list to be competitive when you are so vulnerable to being raided at so many stages of a season.
I have never felt my interest in sanfl diminished to such a low level as it is right now. For the first time ever I am a home match spectator only.
I am hanging on to this passion by a thread.

Yeah slight difference sledging losing an AFL GF by 119 vs projecting a crowd at games

Exactly the AFL grand final margin was easier and more realistic to project.MW wrote:Yeah slight difference sledging losing an AFL GF by 119 vs projecting a crowd at games

Re: Round 10 Central v Adelaide
The Crows wouldn't get as much stick if 3,000 or even 2,000 or 1,000 rocked up.
Their figure being out by a factor of about 100 is the reason for the ridicule.
