Chad Cornes for those wondering.
Cornes out.
Mattner in.
It's a start.

My reasons are detailed in the post above.
We also spent our summer working with Marshall, Georgiades and Lukosius in the front half and haven't had all 3 together at all this year and we saw Georgiades and Lukosius together for the first time on the weekend.
I don't think we bounce from 10-12th to top 4 but I expect to be right in finals calculations next year.

I don't think we played enough kids along the Kenny journey
2017 - Farrell, 26, 107 games
2018 - Rozee, 25, 145. Butters, 24, 132. ( Added Lukosius )
2019 - Bergman, 23, 99. Georgiades, 23, 85
2020 - Jones, 23, 68
2021 - Sinn, 22, 24. Jackson, 22, 5. Visentini, 22, 14. Burgoyne, 21, 52. ( Added JHF )
2022 - Absolute spud draft
2023 - Lorenz, 20, 3
2024 - Berry, 19, 7. Moraes, 19, 8.
10 of the players drafted from 2017 - 2021 are all under 26 ( add Lukosius and JHF ), you'd argue that 7 of them are our best players ( Farrell, Rozee, Butters, Bergman, Georgiades and the two traded in ).
Half our side on the weekend ( 12 actually ) under 26, Powell-Pepper*, Ratugolea, Zerk-Thatcher, Sweet and Drew all 27.
12th oldest list with a 36 year old and Aliir, Wines, Rioli and soon to be DBJ are 30.
What for do you mean?

Agreed that the forwards have not been together but your backs are still ordinary. Sixth highest points against and not difficult to work out 3 of the 5 below
Even Carlton has conceded less

The red period is very unsuccessful, how many players aren't listed over the whole 8 years that you used as an example? That is what I mean, 5 good players over 8 years I wouldn't call a raging success.
