Pay it over the whole ground you imbeciles
If someone has a shot on goal and it slews off the boot out of bounds?

Between the arcs is the best method I think. Keeps something for the rucks to do around the ground.
Works well in the SANFL with the whole ground whereas I think the AFLW is between the arcs as is the U18’s.
I do remember one a few years back at Norwood Oval where the goals were open and someone had a ping on the run from outside 50m and it bounced at right angles and went OOB. That’s just bad luck and still should be a free kick
Yep it should be over the whole ground.
Im sick of sides going inside 50m from 70 or 80m out and deliberately kicking it to the pocket for a throw in. Its negative, boring, defence first football. Instead of having the balls to kick it 20 out straight in front to the hotspot where its much more exciting. But you are left exposed on the way back if you kick it here and coaches are the most defensive minded, negative beasts in football. I would love to see an umpire pay insufficient intent against the attacking team in this case one day, at least it would put the debate on the table. Surely im not the only one that this annoys the crap out of. Theres also cases where a player is 80 out with an open forward line and instead of having a ping and bouncing it through for a goal he kicks to the boundary line
I imagine Jim05 would make a great coach ;)

Saints regretting spend the big $$$$$ on TDK.

How many less stoppages for him to have an impact at now??? There would be what 15-20 boundary throw ins a game at the moment (only guessing) down to what around 5 a game with the new rule.

18's is the whole ground, but the 18's also have anti density to deal with

Overall the rule should help umpires, its one less rule they have to worry about, anything that makes their role easier much be a positive.

Most importantly, there will still be some room for some me time for the umpires inside the arcs and controversies for the AFL footy shows to talk about into the next week

They will paint the 50 lines gold and call them the Golden Arches in a huge sponsorship deal with Maccas.

I just want the BIG questions answered. Given the rule is between the arcs does that mean on the line of the arc is considered inside the arc and therefore a throw in :) :)

On the line is considered "in" and where there is doubt the lesser penalty shall apply according to the laws. Players are allowed to be on the line for 6-6-6
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!
