I tell you one thing that most defiantly shouldn't be in the things you rate thread, the damage to the hip pocket a day in the front bar can do!

My god, Yes the Dal isn't the cheapest place around (I have views on this) but I absolutely killed it on the punt lucky I did as a day in the front bar isn't what it used to be!

One thing we're always on the look out for is large group accommodation, whether travelling with friends ( who are family ) or with family we're on the lookout for places with plenty of space and options for sleeping requirements. We found a good one at Edithburgh.

We stayed here over the weekend :

6 bed rooms, 3.5 bathrooms, 3 kitchens, 1 big under cover ( tiled garage ) area, pizza oven, don't use the BBQ, it was gross, pet friendly and 5 minute walk to the pub, golf course and jetty.

Could sleep 3 kids in one room ( very front of the house had queen + 2 x singles ) and the rest are all queen beds. It's all under the one roof and there's plenty of parking either in there or on the street, lots of living and dining space, 3 TV's all with Kayo. Good spot.

Everything in Edithburgh is expensive, stopped in one morning a few years back and got slugged over $50 for 2 croissants and 4 coffees, and they had the barest of rations on them too.

As I said somewhere else; flying into Adelaide last Wednesday you could see the bloom in the gulf; far and wide

I survived another flight… :)

Back home now from a great couple of weeks in Title Town and the Gold Coast…

The gymnastics comp was pretty successful with the TTG level 6 girls surpassing expectations and coming 15th All Around in Australia and placing 6th in Division B.

Now back into the swing of things before returning to work on Monday…

Oh and also rate only 3 weeks until my sons and I heading to Melbourne for the Oasis Concert…

Interested to see how they are going to fit everything they bring in. Grange had the space to create a composite course and fit in the spectator amenities.

Going to be a shit show getting to the course though....
