Losing 4 players from top 22 is about par I would suggest
Takes a special kind of person to commit for more than five years.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Re: INS & OUTS 2026
The South Adelaide Football Club has confirmed several list changes ahead of the 2026 pre-season.
Liam Fitt has informed the club that he will take a step back from football in 2026 to focus on his growing family and work commitments. Over his career, Fitt has played 107 SANFL League matches for the Panthers and kicked 144 goals. He will also return to McLaren District for the 2026 GSFL season.
Senior Coach Jarrad Wright thanked Liam for his long-standing contribution to the club.
“Liam has made a significant contribution to the football club over many years." Said Wright
"While he is well known for his tenacity on the field and his ability to impact the scoreboard, what many might not see is the person he is within the four walls of the club. Liam is caring, supportive, and deeply committed to his teammates and the Panthers. We wish Liam, Hannah, and baby Hugo all the very best for the future.”
Tom Wheaton will also not play in 2026 as he relocates for work, while Jaiden Magor will move interstate due to the expansion of his career opportunities.
Will Splann will return home following the introduction of the Tasmania Devils VFL team, and Cam Kirkland will take a year off to play for Reynella.
In addition, Cal McCarty has informed the club that he will take up an opportunity with another SANFL club.
South Adelaide General Manager of Football Brent Reilly expressed his gratitude to all departing players.
“While it is always disappointing to see players leave, we thank each of them for the time and effort they have given to the club and the program,” Reilly said.
“We wish them all the very best for the future.”
Reilly went on to say that they are working adding some additional talent to the list.
“We are currently in talks with a number of players that are looking to come to the South Adelaide Football Club and are excited to share them over the coming weeks”

Re: INS & OUTS 2026
A big coup in the Adelaide Footy League. Chad Cornes has turned down SANFL heavyweights Glenelg to sign on as the Div.2 Goodwood Saints’ senior coach. Brett Montgomery, Leigh Adams, Jarrod Cotton & Adam Hartlett in the mix for Tigers job.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

BWWAHH!!!
Ask yourself this question, what the monetary value difference between the Goodwood job and the Glenelg job? You might be very surprised.
Chad clearly doesn't have aspirations of coaching in the AFL system at any level as he would've taken the Glenelg gig on that basis.
Not doing a presentation Pffftt Please
you've gota keep on keep'n on .........

The word from the Fleurieu are that Magor's "career opportunities" are playing in the VFL under the nose of the new Tasmanian team.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!
