If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

How does a dodgy knee effect stiffness?

Confirming it doesn't.

Hopefully not picking him but the reality is he will make sure he is fit because he knows once his out, he probably won't get back in and if fit selectors won't have the balls to drop him.

I reckon Aeries got it. Khawaja will miss out and either Inglis or Webster bat 6, most likely Inglis based on the named squad.
I’m going with an unchanged lineup

If Khawaja was going to be dropped there was no reason to keep him in the squad
Unfortunately i think youre right.
Trying to think how they manage his departure best?
option 1, dont pick him in squad, negative media ahead of his home Test
option 2, drop him night before, shock to team mates so close to the match etc etc
option 3, let him have one final chance, announces his retirement after the match if he fails
Option 4 it is, say he is still injured and avoid making the tough call, its Bailey's mantra. Can they make the tough call and drop Lyon for the Gabba

Surely that’s his career over can’t see him getting back in the side particularly if head keeps opening.

But they also haven’t added to the squad so I guess Trav is opening and Webster comes in middle order

We should acknowledge a good career

85 tests 6000 plus test runs at 43. That’s good going for a top order bat.

Well played
