Re: 2025-26 NBL Season
Not winning too many games with such a pathetic first half.
They had to drop one soon but that was woeful.

Re: 2025-26 NBL Season
I haven't watched a lot of us this year but it looked like we were playing like millionaires. Trying to do all the fancy stuff but none of the basics.

Re: 2025-26 NBL Season
He should have been very good and his defense is what we need but couldn’t score and look disinterested at times. Maybe the personal issues back in the States effected his performance
Or maybe he wasn’t as good as expected, “this ain’t no cupcake league “

Re: 2025-26 NBL Season
Long gone are the days when ex-NBA guys could come here and expect to dominate. Virtually every import has played in the NBA these days and some like TBJ played years in the NBA. Unfortunately he was a bust in the NBA too he was a relatively high draft pick (#15) by the Wizards spent 2+ seasons with then until they gave up on him and traded him and then he bounced around at another four teams before falling out of the league.
Some kick on some don't but he doesn't seem like he has much of a future as a pro baller, the temperament just isn't there he should realised quite some time ago if he didn't pull his finger out he would get cut. It's a brutal world for imports out there.
Official announcement of the 36ers release of Troy Brown Jr:

Re: 2025-26 NBL Season
Sounds like the 36ers new import is ex-NBA guard John Jenkins.
https://www.espn.com.au/nbl/story/_/id/ ... hn-jenkinsJenkins has consistently been part of USA Basketball in qualifying windows since 2017, playing under 36ers head coach Mike Wells, who's served as an assistant coach for the program on multiple occasions.
