surely the raggies would expect a return of at least 100 goals for that amount of coin. if he's on $450, you'd have to assume the other two lofty boys would be on at least $300 a game. thats about $20k for 3 players. have the raggies picked up anyone else of note besides those three?

You wouldn't think their paying that much, surely they wouldn't have that sort of cash. With another 25 contracted players on top of that, i couldn't see some of those lads playing for under $50. If thats true, their heading in the same direction as a well known div3 side who are paying astronomical $$$$. When the money runs out, lets then see how loyal they are!

Are you kidding for that amount of $$$$$$ you would be expecting nothing short of a flag. What a waste of money it would be if they didnt win one. All this recruiting says that the squad they had last year in the clubs eyes isnt that great!!

not entirely true.
Some players who would never consider going to another club, will use pointless threats to get the money they want...
agree fc..but what p1sses me off even more is when a "coach" tells someone from a rival club they will pay them x amount..then player goes back to club and says pay me this..now this guy aint worth that..but hes been told he is by another..at some clubs i have been at..the best players actually played for free..it was the bottomfeeders at the mid level who put the heat on the club for $$..guys who havent even been in the sanfl system..do they think getting $60 a week makes them a better player or gives them some respect they are craving?..will the $60 make that much difference to the players income?..in most cases..no..but they still take take take..these guys destroy clubs..not so much the players who may deserve good coin..but the ones who dont..

Agree totally zedman, seen it happen at my local club. Players with over inflated ego's & ability demanding the $$$ or they'll leave & take a few players with them. There the ones that need a good kick up the ass & moved on, as you stated they end up destroying your club & reputation.

If there are guys that stay at one club and make threats to that club to get $$$ then they are not loyal they are just ripping off the club. Thats why i enjoy my Div 6 club because we dont pay anybody apart from coaching staff.
