Really? Alex Lunn to Modbury?? I thought he would have been happy at Gepps as he has a few mates out there. Either those mates have moved on (to Modbury) or Modbury offered something good.

I'll make enquiries, he's a mate of my brothers..

He is a gun... nice pick up...

Talking to someone at the club it appears not, as they have alot of good players coming up from the u18's,
they like what they currently have.

Have to see how the guys work out as it would be a shame to repeat history.

I was the runner when he played U/17's at the valleys. Whenever we needed to win a game, he would get moved to wherever we needed to take control and he would take over and put the game out of doubt. That side went undefeated all year. That was a few years ago and only u/17's, but I still rate him very highly amongst any juniors I've seen come through Hope Valley. Love to see him wear the red and blue again (and his coach at payneham)... :snakeman:

Both the boys have trained and even up to last week @ Modbury - If some one is chasing them I wouldnt blame them at all as both would be very handy players to pick up and it would be up to Modbury to keep them if this is the case.

That the mail i have, Modbury not really showing enough to keep em, Chris is a class act, Darren is a bit heavy though, that kid could be anything.

Well I guess it will be a wait and see sort of thing @ this stage on the 2 Mitchell boys but whilst there still training @ Modbury there must be some sort of hope for the Hawkers !!!

Is Garfoot still at Modbury? I'd say he was the most athletic player in div 2 last year.

Really can't go past Uni's, Athelstone and Edwardstown for top 3 i wouldn't think. Don't think Modbury will have the goods to push those teams this year, Payneham might lack a little too. Will either of the teams coming up have a chance. Should be a lot more even comp though you'd hope, now that Woodville Sth and Kilburn are out, was like having 2 byes.
