Who else thinks the Murray Pioneer cricket write ups are very poor?

Far be it for me to defend a newspaper, however, the write ups are only as good as the information supplied by the clubs when the sportswriter rings up to find out how the match went.
Cricket is very lucky to get any sort of media support - as local journos in all mediums find it very hard to actually get the score sheets.

Berri vs Monash was washed out today. Rumour has it that the Beddi boys took the opportunity to fertilise their moustaches in an attempt to win some Movember side bets.

Yeah, I read his speech when he was writing it. Was a good one. Slinky wingman in footy. Eyes off though!

If the town you are talking about is Berri, then yes. He should head to town.

Ash can, when he's awake.
Is he still working as a cook?
Used to be able to take some hangers that boy!
