But seeing as you asked nicely...
IMO, Brahma Lodge will stay in Div 6 to cover the Edwardstown defection and it will be Mitchell Park who goes up to Div 6 because of Henley nominating to stay down.

Hard to say. Had some good players three or four years back, Turk, Scuba and others, but AFAIK many of these guys are gone. By all reports they struggled last year, but probably only need four or five good walk-ins to be a finals showing.

word is that if all nominated sides get the two teams, there'll be a div 8 next year with div 7 likely to consist of all a grade sides (of course henley may choose to play there, div 6 or even the mooted div 8 )
there wont be a div 8 finn next year...think about it what would happen to c1 to c5 if div 8 came back....i thought having a div 8 8res would have been good but wont work unless they completely change all the other c grades.c1 down and if they did that then theyd go back to the old days of all the div 1 2 and 3 c grades killing everyones in lowere divs c grades..as ive said before , with the format in place for the c grades , c1 will mirror a1 c2 will mirror a2 etc and if the club has a d grade, then theyll be in the mighty c5 comp.... as it stands now only hectorville and hope v and pulteney are the only div 5 and 6 clubs that have c grades...(sorry if i overlooked any of the other div 5 and 6 clubs that have a c gr) but i dont think i have.

I guess you'll just have to wait. Hopefully we earn our spot back into Div 6 next year and we'll see ya in 2010.
So from what I've been told Houghton have nominated for Div 7?? And the reasoning behind that?
From the outside it probably seems like an odd decision. But with Starry gone, Dow needing surgery on his hand and not available to play, and with Dwyer, Fish, Penn and Ballatori all uncertain to play next year, that's six of our top A Graders missing from a team that finished last this year. We might be able to fill a couple of those holes, but it wouldn't be enough to keep us from getting spanked every week. Hopefully we can have a more successful year in 2009, keep the morale high and give us something to build on.
i thought i was bullsheeting but yours is worse.....on the ball.....sure q..this would mean running......i hear your a good umpire maybe you sh......doh
