The thing I like about it is that instead of just slagging the association game off LF has come up with a solution to a problem that we all know exists.

I like the idea what others are their?

Mine would be that you start the season 1 week earlier and have the June long weekend off and the week before (last weekend) you play the association game. This way for those not playing you get 2 weeks to get yourself right and the association players are awarded that extra week being the long weekend to get smashed at the sea and vines with everyone else (or what they choose of course).

This way all clubs with players in it have 2 weeks but the one where they would have been playing anyway would make the clubs gel and get together to go support the game as they all know they have the long weekend off coming up? This way it's a win win where the league makes money as clubs would be more enthused to go watch and the SFL would get all those who should be playing keen to make a good showing for our league, no offense to those playing this week of course.

Then again maybe it's like P32 said maybe it's just the older guys needing/ wanting the longer break......

the sfl could put a team out there, there 100% full strength side and they would still lose to saafl 23s

Havent seen a few others play as yet

In Because he is just a glove rarely if ever beaten on most opponents probally one that no one would agree with.

thats a great effort there TAC. we would win for sure with that squad. i mean a half back flanker going to beeching after ramsey got the CHB.

BP going to Golding after Pollard and I named 26 becuase i wasnt sure on a bench so just rattled off a heap of names. Beeching is a jet havent seen him play since he did his knee but remember him playing on the footy a few years back and he was the biggest bloke out there and as quick as the smalls. Doubt there are any in our league at least to match that.

What would you know scottroo? You play for a side that wouldn't win a game in the SFL
Where's Bill? Yeah... Hmm... Bill is on the Villa Quatro, on the road to Salina. I will draw you a map.

WLF, clg dont have any reps in the team...although i reckon harvey could put a case forward

as for clg would not win a game in the SFL i think we would comfortably beat hackham
we also played aldinga in a 4 x15 min quarter trial this year and won by 20 goals!

i reckon we would push flagstaff hill aswell

Trials are nothing..... Witnessed div 3 side get crushed by a div 5 side in a trial and went on to finish middle of the pack.

No one playing division six would make the state u/23 side - period.

Hahahahaha ... yep, you would probably comfortably beat Hackham (at the moment) .... but noone else !!

If you guys are so great, why are you still in Div 6 ??? Seems I remember last year that all the talk was you were too good for Div 6, but you still weren't good enough to go up !!

You really have no clue scottroo. I'd claim beating aldingas B grade by 20 goals aswell for my argument......

We have enough intelligent posters on here mate why don't you wander back to the div 6 thread.

Late change for tommorrows game:

Out: T.Tedmanson out with the flu

In: Hernandez, due to his uncanny ability to get front and centre and give a contest
