Oh God... saw the first screen shot of it... disgrace, absolute disgrace. Always said the SACA was run by complete knobs and finally there'll be undeniable proof in concrete for all to see. No more will I be saying that ground is any good.
So if you loved the old ground so much I presume your a member of the SACA?
Why would I join a club I don't respect?

I guess it's inevitable that the AFL eventually infects the SANFL with its game style. Congratulations to both North and Glenelg in bringing the ho hum AFL rolling zone game into the SANFL.
Failure is only the opportunity to begin again more intelligently.

No excuse for bad performances, I do know that the skipper had gastro the day before though. Bring on the bye.

I think the players must have that attitude as well.
Remember Sturt fans, especially a few who post on here 1 victory doesn't make a season.
You need to do more than smash the reigning premiers in June, to start sledging seven time premiership players.
Sounds like sour grapes to me... anytime you smash a team, I think they're fair game for some banter... we've all come across wanker supporters, why whine about it on here? Just makes it look like you can't take it.
I can take it no worries but calling 7 time premiership player hacks and never beens is a bit rich considering they have more premierships than the whole sturt team together and jack oatey medals.
A victory in June is great but i aint season over.
Umm, dude... calling your little god a hack or whatever doesn't exactly equate to premature premiership celebrations. I actually thought that the overall response from Sturt fans on here after the Central pantsing was subdued, with most saying that it is just June with a long season ahead..etc, etc. Some of you guys obviously saw it differently.
That there are still Central's fans complaining about that loss, on Sturt game threads, two weeks afterwards doesn't relfect kindly on yourselves for a number of reasons.
If you are that wound up about whatever name one of your players was called, then the best place to dispel that tag would be on your own game thread, where a description of how he himself made a mockery of his detractors is more fitting. I know that several of our players will surely bounce back from this and I won't be making a point of seeking revenge against North or Glenelg fans the moment either of them drop a game or two.
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail

Any anyway, it was 'thug', not 'hack'

Spoken like a man from the SACA. You wouldn't be a member by any chance would you?
I'm not a member of the Labour Party either, but I'm within my rights to criticise their policies as well.
The SACA's decision to pull down the historical parts of Adelaide Oval is a disgrace. Its my opinion and I'm entitled to it. For a club that hosts just about nothing each year at that ground, the arrogance that seems to pervade the halls of that aristocratic dinosaur is astonishing.
Making comments like "oh well if you're not a member, then piss off", implies that by suddenly shelling out a few sheckles my opinion magically has merit, what a load of rubbish.
I would have expected a better response / attitude from you... poor form to say the least.

Even Graham Cornes wrote an article taking Noble to task over his abandonment of the Bays..you knew Cornsey was upset then!

Absolutely Im a member and have been for 30 years, and cause Im a member I get to have a say about the ground.
Unlike you who havent put any $$ into the ground....
I guess you were up in arms with the MCG Members stand getting demolished also.
And what about them flattening Yankee Stadium with all its history?

I had an opinion on the decision. I never stated that I should have a say in what they do, there's a subtle difference. What you should realise is that by saying what you did, you're saying that if people aren't members, then they have no right to express there thoughts on any controversial (or not) decisions made by various bodies.
Your arrogance that because you pay money towards the SACA, that somehow your opinion is worth listening to, while mine is not, says more about you and maybe the average SACA member. Everyone is entitled to comment on the changes to the ground, those who are financial members can take that further and vote on any decisions to be made.
I doubt Richie Benaud is a SACA member, so by your definition, anything he says, your response would be piss off.
Showing yourself to be a complete tosser in this argument, Dutchy.
