Fair enough PR
Lets leave it at that because what can I say in defence nothing .
Reminds me what i saw Sims do in a Grand Final, What also was done to Roger Luders as well.
Does Sims still have nightmares of Dean Schumann after his gutless attack.
Skipworth was to say the least very mild, he was outstanding all day and if the Eagles had a few more Slippies they may be in for a change of luck next week.

who Joel, Aaron, Thomas, Stephen, Josh........???
They may not get another opportunity Skipworth is a good chance not to play for the eagles next year...trade bait....
Having said that it wasn't the bravest act I've seen in footy, me thinks if presented the same opportunity he wouldn't have done it to Hargraves, Gill or O'Hara....
Interesting to see the Eagles/Warriors supporters defend/justify Skipworth, I remember a lot of bleating from them in 1990......at least Scooter had the "guts" to go front on to Champion none of this from behind sh!te.

Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Probably a fair assumption to make wide receiver, but as I've commented on The Roost, I'm a Crows supporter and hope the little prick never plays for us again. Don't think he'll play for the Crows or Eagles again but I could be wrong.
As for some that want to make comparisons to the Walker incident or bring up Sims.......Walker deserved to give away a penalty and did for a clumsy act that was in full view of the umpire. The Sims act was also cowardly and he got repaid for it, not to mention it was 15 years ago. Should we bring up every cheap shot in the history of SANFL? It doesn't alter the fact the Skipworth act was the most cowardly thing I've seen on a footy field and as supporter we have a right to be pissed off about it.
Someone just rang in on Dumb & Dumber about the incident- guess what? They didn't want to know about it!
Why would that be you ask?
Because Skipworth's a CROWS player, & the fairest player to ever pull on a footy jumper....

That seems a bit racist !! why not put it another way
Plus as TM said he maybe trade bait in a few weeks.
Would like to ask the other CROWS fans who dont want Skippy playing for them anymore do they feel the same way about Bickley do you want him known as a former Crows Skipper or is this a double standards thing !!

And rightly so. I didn't see it, but when I heard about it, I was quite surprised. Pretty poor effort by him, it's just not on.
Lets understand one thing - this is not in Skippys nature so therefore this incident was not premeditated. It happened in the moment. Was it good, no, but lets not get our knickers in a twist over it.

That's why I was surprised - I wouldn't have pictured him to do something like that. But he has to live with that now, I'm afraid.
Its about 3 metres away when the incident starts and is probably about 5 metres away when it finishes.
I don't think was any remonstrating by North players as they didn't see it as they were looking at the ball and had their backs to the inicdent.

Perhaps this is the biggest problem here (I think your a north fan)North fans getting all hot and bothered over this act(not saying you shouldnt) .Why didnt your players do something yesterday about it ,this seems to be a problem that shouldve/couldve but WAS NOT solved on the field .Perhaps you fans have learnt something about your team buying stars doesnt mean they play with their heart,If they played the way it is reported Jarman coaches Skippy wouldve been dealt with then and there .

I'm sure if a North player did it to "Skippy", there'd be a witch-hunt...

Sorry I had to say that !!
Now lets move on please
As I said before, because the incident was behind the play, the players in the vicinity all had their backs to the incident as they were chasing/eyeing the ball.
If they had seen it Skipworth would have been a dead man.
Christ, if Koopsy was in the vicinity and had seen it it would have been very interesting to say the least.
Skippy obviously knew Koopsy was already on the bench injured.
You're clutching at straws Mickyj.

Better than making violent threats against the player in question .
But as I said I can not agree with what he did so no defence from me .
North have bought some good footballers, however name me a STAR they have bought, and Matty Campbell isn't one of them, he is only a kid, but alas and I will say right now he will play more AFL games than Skipworth ever will and yes I am a North fan and proud of it, but again alas, there are alot of supporters on here having a say that are not North supporters

Skippy's cheap shot was a disgrace I hope he feels real special for beating up a kid and only having the guts to to it when no one is looking. Craigy get rid of this prick in trade week please he is a bad advertisment for footy
