Feel free to come up & question our toughness then.
Maybe you guys should keep your gloating purely to winning yesterday.
Then again, you haven't won anything of note, so maybe you should just shut right up until you do even that.
I wasn't questioning the roosters toughness. I just don't beleive that incident deserves as much shit about it. On a scale of 1 -10 seriousness it has to be no more than 4. let's face it there's been numerous more serious offences that haven't seen the light of day in the sanfl tribunal. let's not make a huge issue over a nothing incident.

We have as much chance of seeing you Sunday as the Eagles have of winning. Let's hope Skipworth gets lost and parks his car near the North gathering - that would be more interesting than punching the remainder of the hot air out of your pea sized brain.
Correct me if I'm wrong but the Eagles are in the GF so they have every chance of winning unlike 7 other teams who have since packed their bags and gone home. Dismiss the Eagles as a threat to this years premiership at your own peril.

mate, you could say that if this was pre GF 2000 maybe even 2001...but not after countless chokes!!!
really, if i was an eagles fan id shut the fk up and pray...then id ask god why he has forsaken me to be an eagles fan.
skippy and the gowans would go well playing on each other but me thinks skippy is a sheep in wolves clothing... the gowans will eat him and his family, alive.

Hard To Believe
Hard To Believe
It is hard to believe two groups of supporters making a big deal out of such an incident, threatening violence towards each other "Grow Up". Of the 7,200 NA supporters at the game and the 850 eagle supporters there, get over it.
Skipworth did apply a Mario Milano wrestling hold on the ground but who knows if he even knew that Matt Campbell was even injured. Pushing a physical presence is not a crime and in the past so many eagle players have powdered when the pressure gets hot.
To those who have not watched the game, watch it on Fox or ABC2 this week, remember both players are on the ground and does skippy really know that the player is injured from the skippy tackle. I watched the whole game, Skipworth worked tirelessly all day, he tackled players all day, "and yes on what i saw i would love him in a westies jumper" he played the game hard and gave 100%.
So to both teams supporters grow up and how about a few eagles supporters actually get to a game and support their team. If it was a CD V NA game we would have 30,000 + people, on the other hand CD V Eagles maybe 24,000+.

Sorry Dash, ABC 2 have gone back to Late Night Legend with Lex the Swine Marinos, 1979 Bledisloe test match was on last night. So no replay this week
FWIW Skippys act was low and not the bravest thing witnessed on a footy field, not saying it was the worst thing i've seen (thanks to Wedgies stills) but it is not good. As Blighty would say "he has played with the footy gods, and you don't want to offend them" Skippy might find that he escapes the Footy tribunal but you can never escape the Footy Gods....
Something bad from a footy perspective could be around the corner for him......

Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Question to you sir,
When Skippy was on the ground how in the hell does he know that young campbell has done a shoulder, in battle you are not going to take his vitals.
Next question?, if you were coaching against the roosters on Sunday, would you not instruct one of your players to hit Nick Gill as hard as you can in the shoulder area considering how brillant Nick Gill can be and is a potential match winner, what is the difference?

Oh dear, who was responsible for printing off these pictures and dropping a few copies all over Woodville Oval, whoever you are you deserve a medal, but next time perhaps stick them to the clubrooms so the wind doesn't blow them all through the streets for little kids to see

or let's say Campbell wasn't even injured until Skipworth committed his heinous act?
What would your view be then?

You must be an idiot (fait accompli really)- all supporters are united in their disgust for that incident, all have voiced their opinon. The only morons defending Skipworth are Eagles supporters who come from the shallow end of the gene pool- your smarter supporters (Dissident, Spelly, etc) are not trying to defend the un-defendable.

Tend to agree with most of Dash's posts here ... The incident wasn't the best no doubt, and these things have a way of catching up with the transgressor, whether through official channels or on the field, and thats something Skipworth will have to live and deal with.
However, I wouldn't think the incident would rate in the top 50 worst incidents I've seen and most posters throughout the course of the year seem to appreciate the SANFL's stance of being harder and tougher, so Im a bit surprised by the extent of outcry on this one.
I reakon play on, and if Skipworth gets his come uppance he'll only have himself to blame ...

I won't defend it, because it was stupid and cheap.
On the flipside, I am not the sort of person to go off about something like that if it was another team's player doing it to mine.
But everyone's different.
Maybe there's bitterness (and quite understandably) at the fact that Skipworth (and the Eagles) are in the grand final and Campbell (and North) aren't and this incident makes things worse.
I'm not having a go at anyone, don't get me wrong.
I'm just trying to put it in perspective.
I'd be as upset as you are at the moment.
