You're good Shoe Boy. All I will say is that as a club we have identified the areas that may have been the difference between another Prelim loss and a Premiership and have already gone a long way to filling those gaps. That of course is not disregarding the talented group of 18-19 year olds that will be given every chance to establish themselves. Stay tuned for news of a "gun" returning after having a year away in 2009.

It was the same 20 blokes there on a Thursday night after training and on a Saturday night as we had a supporter base that could fit within a square metre box! But we had a great bunch of blokes that stuck together and did everything together through tough SAAFL div 1 & div 2 times. The senior part of the club has been solely run by 3-4 people with limited help and that has been highly admired by all that know the club.
Like you said, Unless the club can retain some of the juniors to come through the grades the club will continue to have turnstiles revolving with new recruits as the club does not have a family atmosphere or culture. Its the players and volunteers that make the club, with out these two things the bar would be empty Monday through Sunday!

I have a lot of great mates from EFC including players, officials and volunteers.... but this time I think they got it wrong. I shouldn't be worried as I dont even play there anymore but I just feel sorry for big Matt who has put in countless hours and always put the club first!

I wish EFC all the best for the tough 3 years ahead.

Mirror#3 - you are so full of it - I was very surprised to see you @ the club last night to meet the new coach, actually it really doesn't surprise me at all, you know why? - coz straight after it finished you went back to your BF house to tell him the inside goss...

Exit turnstiles you talk about - Mirror#3 you quoted the following "The senior part of the club has been solely run by 3-4 people with limited help and that has been highly admired by all that know the club" these 3-4 people are the exit turnstiles & the change in direction from the club will fix that exact problem.

With your exit Mirror#3 over to Shoe land puts a smile on my face - Lets just say I am going to enjoy playing against you (that's if you make the senior squad!) & show you that you shouldn't be playing a man's sport.

And for the record so everyone knows how much of a d/head you are, Mirror#3 played at Edwardstown this year alongside myself. I don't need to tell everyone what number he wears!!

Spangy - if you had any idea about the club you play for, you would know I was speaking of 4 volunteers that put in hours each week to put EFC players on the park.... so no I wasnt speaking of players!

Have heard that the golding to $hoes signing has hit a hiccup. with the deal all but done and clearance put in I beleive it has been knocked back by the league due to some sort of rule. apparently a new team to the comp cannot clear any players to other teams in the same comp, until they have been in for 3 years. Not to sure about this but it is what Ive heard on the grapevine.
Beat the whites of eggs with a pinch of salt until stiff...Continue beating, gradually adding sugar, vinegar and vanilla, until of thick consistency.

KUNG FU F&K WIT... i wish u the best on recruiting for 2010 i really do, i can confirm what Lova has Posted is totally correct that No player from a new club in the SFL( eg Edwardstown ) can not play for or transfer to another club in the SFL (eg Noarlunga) for 3 years. Southern Football League rules State this. So KUNG FU while you are sitting down at your AGM discussing MY disgust in the way your club is heading, might be a good idea to chase down some different recruits. I wish u the best.....

Big call on a few of them? Not going to name names but some of them would not be in the top 10 at Reynella IMHO.

INTERESTING - FYI I've just checked 2009 SFL Constitution and Handbook and can not locate any such stipulation/amendment to cover this refusal of clearance request. Constitution was last amended March 2009 after the AGM, and after Edwardstown joined.

Anyone who wants to can have a look, it's on the SFL SportingPulse webpage

BRD you dont pay attention much do you i have **** all to do with the shoes,i just couldnt believe how much you care what the shoes do.Any way cant deal with thick skulls all day.
So with this apparent rule with no one in the league allowed to touch town players does that mean they can go there hardest to recurit anyone they like inside the league but its not allowed the other way round.ha good rule NOT.SFL looking after a club that came into the league dont bring kids get a easy draw now there all untouchable.Stop making me laugh the old balding wankers that run the league couldnt organize themselves a root in a brothel.

Given that clearances don't open until February, and 85 Was a Good Year can't find the rule in the constitution I suspect someone has just got a nice big bite.
