good post Asert as I for one am sick of the crap coming out of clubs that say their blokes play for love!!
This year we have had more approaches from clubs than I have seen b4 with clubs calling our kids/knocking on their door unanounced/offers of dinner/and $150 a game to train 1x a week and garantee A grade footy this to kids that have not even played an A grade game! FACT.
We understand the recruiting gig but!!!!
These kids are tight and love the club as most have been here since under 10 and are going nowhere. They will be rewarded in the future with the commitment to each other and the club.
You understand the recruiting gig?????
So why isnt yours working?
I could count on 1 hand the emus have recruited from outside the club in the last 7 years.
Now thats recruiting.
