Why did every essendon play push up and leave roughead to mop up just before the siren. Someone had to stay back

HW were 3-4 goals up at 3/4 time and lost

Who knows, lots of bizarre tactics by us in the last term.
When Chappy kicked our last goal I told the old Hawks fan next to me we would lose. Was so predictable we would chip it around and try to play keep offs with plenty of time remaining, have seen it so many times and it rarely works
