Westhoff??? Stop it.
Boak’s best footy is behind him & quite possibly so is Gray’s who turns 30 in March.

Walk up starters

Carn Spargo. Your lot carried Boomer basically to his transition into a nursing home. Wasn't producing his best football by 38, but was playing a role for the side and many North supporters were very disappointed when Scott helped him clear his locker.

Gray off of the back of AA selection is still one of the elite players of the comp, and Boak was producing very good numbers for a predominant HF rotating through the midfield. Both would start in any side.

Westy is questionable, but would start in most sides I would have thought.

You'll be a lonely member of the club that thinks Robbie Gray doesn't get a gig in every other AFL team.

My word Gray does. Not sure about the other two

I think Boak would find a spot in most if not all sides and I think Westhoff would fit into the bottom 6 or 8 sides, nobody who finished above us in '17 would require his services and to be honest I think he's about 20-25th on our list now and isn't a walk up start with us. It'll be him or Watts in the side, can't see both playing in the AFL side at the same time.

Gray is still a gun, Boak will sit nicely on many teams benches whilst Westhoff is just plain effin useless.......... except when they play the Crows!

I agree with Booney, but i think we would all find that whichever list Westhoff was on, he would be played in their best 22 by the coaches due to his versatility.

I agree that Watts SHOULD likely push him out of our side especially if Marshall has a strong start to the season, but coaches love talls that have big tanks that they can throw at either end

Gray would, yes - but the statement was “any side” not North.

Don’t agree.
He plays well against you blokes but is very ordinary against other good teams.

So you're saying he would kick Lynch out of the Adelaide side? That is the role he would play? lead up fwd, swing, 3-4th target.

As other have said Grey's in every side along with Boak. Westoff wouldn't be in the best 22 of the top 10 sides, now.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Nor the bottom 8 sides either.
I wouldn’t have him at Carlton.

Fair point, maybe not the crows, Lynch is probably the best in the comp at that role.

Would have thought Richmond, Geelong, Melbourne, Essendon, Bulldogs, St Kilda, Hawks, Collingwood Freo North Carlton Gold Coast Brisbane would be playing him. you can argue about his age etc but i still think he plays decent footy

Crows, GWS, Sydney, West Coast? maybe not.
