I heard on the weekend that Golden Grove will be gaining quite a few Modbury players for 2008. You hear all sorts of things this time of year, not many actually eventuate, but has anyone else heard the same thing?

Preseason training started last night @ Modbury - good numbers and not to many from last years A grade not there ( A few not there but they were expected with the change of coach ).

A few new faces as well.

Doesn't confirm anything just yet, but obviously a few might be leaving...

Sensational surface though,I can deal with crap change rooms if the oval it's self is as enjoyable to play on as that.

i think there maybe real problems with ovals and water restrictions this year..the grounds are rock hard now..imagine what they will be like in march?

would not be surprised to see the season moved back a month or something similar..once level 4 comes in after xmas these ovals will get nothing..it is going to be a real concern imo..what is plympton looking like atm bulldog?..i did hear that cricket may not be played there soon because of the oval..is that correct?
