Brilliant.

Many moons ago I worked with a bloke who was a qualified ballroom dance instructor, and he ran lessons near the workplace for beans; just enough to cover the rent of the hall. When Mrs Pseudo found out about this she dragged me kicking and screaming to the classes ... Completely contrary to my expectation, I enjoyed it - and I particularly enjoyed the basic tango steps we were put through. (Vertical tango only ;) )

We did Spain, France, and UK, in early 2016 staying a lot of the time with old friends of hers in Ronda, the Loire Valley, and Penzance and Essex - and a mate of mine in Oxford. In early 2017 we did Tokyo and Kyoto and day trips from those points - handy that she speaks Japanese after having lived and worked in Tokyo for 5 years.

It is Italy in early 2018, and we are taking classes in Italian shortly.

This year she bought me a Fetch Mini for Xmas and I bought her a Bulgari perfume.
(Various miscellanea were exchanged with other friends - one of the best I got was and drink cooler and stool combo backpack..)

ok, i'll bite

So on Friday, I received a half a lovely Christmas gift from Boon

Anyone that has me as a friend on FB will know that i have a Christmas tree full of penguins, of which the erecting of each year, is better known as "operation penguin tree"

So in a thoughtful gesture, Boon gifts me a beautiful Christmas bauble

Thinking that this is clearly too good to be true, in the end I was right, because I turn said bauble around, believing there would be a lovely penguin to look at and got this instead

Despite there being no actual penguin on the ornament, it still takes pride of place on the tree.
