I thought BROOKFiELD RULER would be about $1-50 and a non bet
It paid $1-80 on the TAB which were about my odds

This is the part that is astounding
I backed it at $2-52 on Betfair
It actually went out to an astonishing $3 on Betfair
At this point I had thought the champ might be carrying an injury or whatever
It was backed into odds on
Strange flucs

At least it won

My tips for the day:

Race 1:no.8 LOOK HERE BLOKE...in a respected stable, and big drop in class coming to SA, last win came home in 56.9 at Tabcorp Park!!! Can be known to do things wrong but is much better suited to the mobile conditions, will be winning if he can stay safe.

Race 2:no.1 BOURBON GIRL...last win was exactly 2yrs ago today but from barrier 1 should be a good e/way bet at odds, in not an overly strong race.

Race 4:no.2 HEEZHOT...should just be winning this race on Friday nights effort, will go straight to the front and be hard held at the finish.

Race 7:no.2 BOXER MARAE... extremely good beginner, will be leading easily and if left alone in front should run away with the race.
