Doubt it very much they wouldnt want to play against the top side.
i believe its Athelston's Past players day on saturday and how disapointing that would be if Hectorville didnt put a team out. A fair bit of organisation goes into a day like this and for a side not to show up would be very disapointing.
I doubt very much they would forfeit on purpose...

Consider the disappointment realised. Strike 2 for the hounds...
I agree WB12 - I am sure they have their reasons. Considering they fielded 17 against Old Iggies a couple of weeks back I am gueesing lack of numbers is the reason.

Shocking jumper clash today between Eliz and Old Iggies! Especially when the rain came. Was hard to watch from sidelines!

I'd assume Plympton won, but does anyone know the score of Mitcham v Plaympton game?

I wouldn't have thought there'd be that much of a clash to be honest...

I'm living in another era - thinking that Elizabeth had more yellow than blue in their jumper

Still doesn't look like much of a clash to me.

That's what I thought, hence no clash.

I thnink they clash, but its not up to me. I guess Elizabeth's A's and B's will wear the yellows ones against Fitzroy this week? Maybe Athelstone could borrow their B grades white guernseys if they are worried about a clash

Athelstone had to wear a clash strip when they played at elizabeth. so you would think Elizabeth have to do the same. Mitcham and Old Iggies came to Athelstone earlier in the year without a clash strip. if its in the Amateur league book as a clash surley the away team have to arange another jumper?? Also being a 4.30pm start it will be a bit dark after half time which will make it even harder to see.

they don't use that rule anymore, it's now the away team who has to change

In fairness to both those clubs, the online version of the 2013 SAAFL handbook lists no jumper clashes in the C2 competition.

Maybe the SAAFL is investigating something such as non registered player?
