Which is great, and there's a lot of good stuff on the SANFL YouTube channel, in particular the Recovery Session which is 6-7 minutes of highlights from each of the previous weekend's games, set to radio commentary for the non-TV games.

But looking back through the year I can only see about 4 full games on there (excepting reserves and U/18s), with lower production values than 7Mate (e.g. just one camera, as far as I can see), which has broadcast I guess about 22 SANFL league matches so far this year. So SANFL producing/streaming/uploading the content itself might be the future, but it's no substitute in the present.

Similar to the SANFL, the VFL games (first year on Ch7) have not been put online either.

I get what you're saying.
So perhaps this is where the SANFL should step in and, rather than pursuing the 5aa gimmick, work with the stations that have supported the league for so many years and contribute to improving their product. Yes, 5aa and abc might achieve greater exposure short-term, but why not fully commit to rph, life, etc, get sponsors on board, and achieve exposure all season?

Not sure where to put this but for anyone interested Channel 7 are showing the Grand Final's of the WAFL at 1am Tuesday morning and the VFL at 2:15am Wednesday morning on their 7mate channel.

What a farce.
They dont want nothing to do with the comp all year and then jump onboard for the GF.
Accidently heard about 5 minutes of the pre game yesterday and the commentators were clueless. Turned it off when they started rambling on about the AFL Prelims and who was going to win the AFL GF

Wtf is with Channel 7 running and hyping up their quiz 10 minutes into the final quarter of a grand final that was still in the balance. Self indulgent rubbish. Couldn't believe my eyes and ears - perhaps focus on the pinnacle event ya clowns.

Quiz has been good during the year, but agree JK. Imagine a sponsorship thing, why not do it at 3/4 time this time?

I just found it disrespectful to the competitions biggest game, biggest stage and two best clubs. Whilst I didn't think West were going to lose at any stage, the Eagles were still close enough that the winner wasn't certain.

I enjoy a quiz (particularly footy related) as much as anyone, but there's a time and place for it I think.
