I love how Port sign a gun for 3 years and you find a way to question it.

I have it on good authority that one of our 2 remaining "gifts" will be Chad (no great surprise there- he was never going anywhere), but (dependent on the order) Ollie will not be #3 or #4.

If Ollie isnt signed in this spate of signatures I dont think you are going to get it at all. Reckon he slips into a brown and gold guernsey fairly nicely and we have more salary cap space than Port

Wines will sign for 2 years. At the end of that he'll be restricted, 25 and a premium midfielder of the competition. His next deal will be as big as any around the competition. I hope both are with Port, I believe they will be.

Maybe.... ;)

stan wrote:I think Wines will sign on soon. Port would probably like for longer but if he has a manager worth his salt he would sign on for 2 years, bringing him out of contact at restricted free agency. Obviously then his stocks have increase and its time to sign a 5 year deal for plenty.

Not sure if someone else mentioned this on here, but it just seems like player manager 101.

Haha good stuff Boon, I was so sure I read that somewhere.

Started in '12, so when his contract just signed finishes in '19, you do the maths......

Seems like it is less than that with the way players are demanding moves after a few years.

They all shit can us, I'm used to that. But Dutchy (not you) has a special knack of finding shit in even good news Port announce. I see he made (or others) no comment on Port making a profit this year.....

You would expect a multi-million $ profit after reading that...

Indeed you did, Jim. Apologies.

It is, indeed.

Hawthorn are at 59,000 currently, West Coast 49,000. Couldn't find Adelaide, Collingwood or Richmond numbers to date.

A bit of piss and wind early in the new year, but it's certainly nice to read none the less- it sounds as though the group has come back in really good shape with the number of PB's recorded.
