Nugget Morris to Rose Park? Shame he didn't sign a week earlier, would've been straight on the plane to Melbourne for the Championships

Rose Park will be tough to beat after Christmas if it's true.

I reckon there are 2 maybe 3 possible upsets on offer

1. Magill Morialta - Desi last week reversed their batting order, and went in with the game plan "Batters bowl" and "Bowlers bat", as a result they came very close to losing to NEK (100 v 8/102) although still chased the runs in quick enough time to gain a bonus point. If they go with a similar mindset this week, Magill have the strength to potentially make them pay with their 1st loss.

2. Enfield 'E' - Adelaide Lutheran 'C' have been very unsettled so far this season, and struggled little last week for numbers. Depending on availability for both sides, an upset isn't out of the question... but it would take one hell of an effort from Enfield.

3. Athelstone 'B' - Athelstone have sailed under the radar a bit this year, and have only dropped the 2x games. On their best day they're up there with the best. Rose Park on the other hand, watching them the other week i get the impression perhaps they're over achieved a little bit so far this season to sit outright 2nd. Christmas period is always difficult, also depends on who Rose Park have at their disposal in this match - rumors circulating Troy Bills might be on the return after their exception start to the season.. sniffing some success..

Massive congratulations to two Enfield long serving members for the weekends milestone!

James Hughes picked up wicket 300 for the club against Fitzroy, becoming the 12th player in the clubs history to do so.

Adam Gully who picked up wicket 400 for the club against Smithfield in the PDCA, becoming only the 3rd player in the clubs history to do so, and making him the outright 3rd all time leading wicket taker! At 32yo, there is hope he can push towards the 680 wicket record held by Wal Johnson!

Gully in particular is a great story - could've gone elsewhere as a young pup with his left arm out swing but stuck loyal to Enfield through some really difficult times, represented the association on countless occasions including 5x national church carnivals, and probably the only player from Enfield opposition sides genuinely like haha!
