The Cats will easily account for the Crows. We will see it all start from our defence and the ability to heavily restrict the Crows forwards. The 2nd tier mids will once again have to step up and contribute as they did last week. If we can control Sloane and his impact that will go a long way to winning. Confident that Scott Selwood can cover him.
Matty Wade is a star and deserves more respect from the forum family!
Really not sure about tonight. the Crowvertiser is all over the Crows. First 8 pages all about the prelim. Glad i dont read it anymore.
I think if the 2nd tier Crows players get their hands on it then the Crows will be hard to stop but im just not sure who will win. McGovern is a huge loss as now Lonergen will take Tex, Henderson to take Joe the goose. You would think Bews will take Betts. For Crowies to win Joe needs to have a big influence. If crows bomb it long due to the Cats pressure Henderson will mark everything.
I think home ground maybe the difference but if the cats win the contested ball then i think the catters will get the chocolates.
Cats by 5 points. Hawkins to kick the winner from Eddies pocket
Selwood to get a free-kick for a head-high tackle before the 1 minute mark of the first; Dangerfield plays up forward and kicks 5.13 (and four OOTF); Leigh Colbert to take a dodgy diving mark in front of the members; and Tom Lonergan shakes hands with Jenkins after the siren with a kidney in his hand that he stashed in his sock pre-match.
