Looking at the replay and it done the exact opposite to what we would've expected, very strange.Brodlach wrote:

It basically summed up my punting on Saturday, spewing that I never seen it listed, I would've donated there too.Lightning McQueen wrote:Looking at the replay and it done the exact opposite to what we would've expected, very strange.Brodlach wrote:

Re: Horse Racing Tips & Discussion
Morning lads. Seems to be a distinct lack of mail on here. Too many slips, not enough tips.
I've got a blackbooker running today at Benalla (yuck) in R2 - 11 Hotzel.
Ran a nice trial relatively untouched leading into this and the winner of that trial won handsomely on debut at Ballarat on Sunday. Was $4.80 last night. Into $4. Thinking it might hover around that mark.
Wednesday Sandown R7 - 6 Bold Bourbon. Ran a terrific and tough 3rd in Saturday grade at Mooney Valley last start. Came out of a strong race at Sandown the run prior with Marcolt winning that. Marcolt then ran a lip second in that same Saturday race at MV behind Fighting Arrows. 5th from that race, Liberated Girl, went and pantsed them at Mooney Valley on Friday night. Anyway, Bold Bourbon appears tactically versatile as it can run either on pace or back in the field. Went up at $14. Into $12 and I'll be staggered if it doesn't jump single figures.

Re: Horse Racing Tips & Discussion
Great price I could only get $4.20 this morning with a bet return. Wish I had the confidence to take the $4.80 last night but happy all the same. Will win more races I reckon. Might also blackbook third from that trial as they all finished in a clump. EDIT: I see third from that trial was Humming which won at Moe a few days ago. Geez. Re: Horse Racing Tips & Discussion
Morning lads.
I have a real speculator tomorrow at Goulburn that I’ll be watching closely. Goulburn R6 10 Diamond Flyer is at $41 and $9.50 the place. I don’t necessarily think it’s a strong winning chance but it ran a solid 3 lengths third behind a dominant Whiskey Wisdom which lines up at Randwick on Saturday.
I can see 4 starters with more claims than Diamond Flyer but a reasonable draw and coming onto good ground I think puts it in the place frame a lot more than a $41 shot. And this is a provincial maiden. Worth a little 1x3 dabble IMO.

Into $10. Still seems a fair price.OnSong wrote: Wednesday Sandown R7 - 6 Bold Bourbon. Ran a terrific and tough 3rd in Saturday grade at Mooney Valley last start. I don't mind the price around 7 The Claimant either as it drifts out. The blinkers went on last start and it just would not settle so they come OFF again for this race. One to watch.
