Well go into the div 3 thread and start mouthing off then.
Looking at the season Morphies park have gad are they really going to be competitive in div 4?
Don't morphys have atleast a half a dozen ex league or atleast sanfl reserves players on their list. Don't know too many div 4 sides with that calibre.

Agree to a degree but pretty arrogant really. Success in b grade strives people to keep playing well in the ones, old heads to teach young kids so they can play a grade, not to mention a successful side want to hang around and spend a few bucks and build a culture. pretty important I would think.

Coming from a bloke who should be in the Div 1 forum. One of the clubs represented in this forum will be Div 3 next year hence my interest. And I was referring to B grade footy in general not the current Pooraka situation. Tough one for the league because taking Pooraka out of the B grade now would impact on clubs hosting finals and lost revenue if a forfeit occurs. Anyway, in 2 or 3 years from now only 21 blokes will remember who won the 2016 Div4R flag.
Morphy Parks challenge is depth. Their B grade have been easy beats for the stronger SFL clubs for years. Under Byron Murphy they quickly established a very good A grade team assisted by the Ruwoldts and Cranston. Last couple of years they have introduced several teenagers who are now among their better players. Injuries to Murphy and a few others have derailed their recent games but a couple of their heavy defeats have been to teams that would obliterate most Div 4 teams particularly if they were missing some key players. The "pasty" is one of the most unique grounds in the state and MP are a 10 goal better side there so I expect them to at least rival what Townies have done. But that core group of youngsters can only get better so they may have a greater upside than what Townies had albeit with less depth than Townies.
Very confident Havens will win tomorrow if they can stop Salisbury's ruckman, they have been a lot stronger in that area the last few time we've met. All the best to Timmy Z tomorrow on his 300th game they way he plays he could probably play another hunjie. Pretty sure he's won B&F's in all 4 senior grades A's B's C's & D's at Havens, absolute legend of a bloke and just quietly pretty handy with a sherrin.
DTH I think you're taking some opinions on here a bit too serious mate. Nothing wrong with some forum members being passionate about reserves grade footy.
Now the real question is..... If Brighton had to start in Div 7 would they have beaten a Div 1 Reserves team?
Can you bring a man to his feet when defeat is on repeat?

must only be there for the money as they obviously haven't performed this year

How the f*** did you manage to lose by a point?
Pooraka straight into a grand final.
Farcical.
I watched the whole game FC. Towns were 4 goals up at half time but Pooraka hit back hard in the 3rd quarter to give themselves a chance. Townie lad got knocked out accidentally in the last quarter and after 6 minutes of time on to get him off the field Pooraka kicked a quick goal to take the lead. The worst part was Pooraka's feral A grade who were gathered on the Eastern side of the ground gave the kid a massive send off. To the Pooraka B grade team I doff my hat, they heard the Sh..t and as a team they stood close and applauded the lad coming off on a stretcher. There appears to be 2 sets of values at Pooraka, the B grade is a very good team and maybe doesn't reflect some elements of the club. Good game but and if they meet in a the GF it will be a classic.
Well done Havens yesterday. Salisbury were out coached and had no answerers to a few very good moves after half time. At least they don't have tom decide which grade suits them best next year U know Havens always have and always will relish the opportunity to play at the highest level available. All the lads played well yesterday, exceptional second half and to Salisbury's defence they battled hard and are a good bunch of blokes so all the best next year fella's
