OTR - Ashford on South rd

Singlehandedly the worst service in an empty servo, the shot still making a coffee....never ever again for that outlet

Kurralta Park?
If so then yes they are on my banned list, absolutely pathetic service
Yeah it might be Kurralta Park.
Oposite the Ashford TAB?

That’s the one, Kurralta Park. Has been on my banned list for awhile now. Nothing has changed it seems

I go there every 2nd day for a coffee.

So you order it today and go back and get it tomorrow?

The servicr at the OTR on Diagonal Rd is a bit shit too.

HH3 Jnr likes to push the green button, and I always have to tell him not to push the red ones because the people have been helpful...

But, I was at the front of a long line. 2 x Dares for me, 3 x juices for Jnr and his brother and sister (from another father) as we were on the way to their house.

Asked for a bag. The guy pulls out a plastic bag, doesnt open it up, lays it across the drinks, and watches me put my own shit in the bag, while holding the line up.

While I was doing it I told Jnr to push the red button twice.

The one down the street from me on Seacombe Rd seems to always be the first to put fuel up & the last to put it down.
I must admit the one on the corner of Henley Beach & Holbrooks Roads is is very well run in the mornings.

Ahhh, I have some fridge parts that need replacing, they'd need to get them from overseas though.

the problem with the bit multinationals is that they are pretty damn hard to boycott. props to you if you have actually avoided all of these brands

a huge amount of their shares are owned by L'Oreal

unfortunately, in the world of mobile phones, they are about the only one that actually gives you good service! (went to voda for a while, never again)

and optus arent cheap enough to make me swap.

will never get internet through them (or a home phone which i have not had for years)

Yep. The only thing I had to really watch out for was Nescafe and Kit Kats.

Optus are ok only, just ok. Can be bit of a pain but ok.

Telstra have the coverage and service capabilities. Hard to ******* deal with though, really bloody hard.

For internet you are always better looking around and trying Aussie, iiNet or someone's like that. Telstra cable is getting phased out with the NBN so Telstra are losing there major selling point there.

I've noticed the mobile phone services offered these days tend to start at about $45 per month and go up fast on all the websites, presumably because they offer a lot of data. However, as I have never used more than 2 GB in a month on my phone, and rarely use more than 1 GB, I've stayed with an Optus 4G SIM only plan at 3GB and unlimited calls and texts nationally for $25 per month. (They now have a similar plan for 5G SIMs but tend not to promote it - they all push the higher data plans.)

Overall they have been fairly good, and in some locations had better reception than my portable Telstra modem.
(I guess you do need Telstra if you are often in remote areas.)
