I can see why you'd say that after finishing third and having a period on top of the ladder but we all know how well sides can recruit these days and in an even division sometimes it only takes 4-5 quality blokes and a god run with injury to be successful. My early prediction (which are usually hopeless) is that the top 7 sides will finish within 4 games of each other. Looking forward to a great year though
Not only the number 1 ruckman LK, but the number two went down with the flu before the game. Probably the best ruck combo in the league. Also Harvey couldn't move in the preliminary and didn't take any part in the last quarter. The only game he went goalless and they went down by 3 goals. Luck plays a big part in finals as NH would testify - two misses from 5 metres out in the 2nd semi from CLG in the last 5 mins could've changed a lot of people's destiny. But that's footy!

which is kinda the point i was trying to make earlier. That injuries can play a huge part in not only september but the whole year if things dont go your way. and thats not just referring to CLG that's everyone. Most div 5 teams have a pretty solid top 8-10 players but you separate the good from the great teams by their depth of talent and ability to cover injuries. Its not all that often in this div you see a top notch B grade side with a A grade that misses finals.
just heard Sam Biggs from Eastern Park has signed with Elizabeth for next season, with himself and Scott Webber coming in the Eagles forward line looks very good......

Also a couple of older heads returning to that forward line/midfield too I hear...

Thanks for further backing up my statement. Anything less than promotion for CLG from an outsiders point of view would be a disaster.
Can you bring a man to his feet when defeat is on repeat?

Really???
You're my only friend, and you don't even like me.
Colonel Light Gardens FC would like to invite players of all abilities to preseason training starting Monday the 24th of November under club coach Matt Dent, B grade coach Kosta Amanitidis and C grade coach Steve Lemmers. Monday night will kick off at 6.30pm @ mortlock park. Potential players please do not hesitate to contact football director Scott Hooper on 0438813306.
Yes he is playing at Mawson Lakes, but only playing come finals time in the C grade to make sure we beat Ingle Farm and Lockleys. We will also be forfeiting the C grade 4 times during the year to put his name down.

Another good addition at the Eagles last night with Jason Sandercock from SW signing for the 2015 season, quality user of the ball and will fit in nicely across half back.
