Rocked up to the pub last night and ordered a couple of Pints...
Pull my wallet out and the barmaid says that there's a tab running...
I tempt fate and double check that she doesn't think I'm part of a different crew, and sure enough, my beers were free.

Another mate rocked up, and assuming the tab would run out, I rushed him to order a couple more Pints. $5 each.
Third mate arrives, Pint in hand, $5.

So guessing the tab did run out, and pretty chuffed at getting my beers free, I am prepared to buy the lads a beer, only to get to the bar, and FREE BEER.

Giggled to myself, drank for free all night...

Totally legless on a monday night... :oops:

I convene a little "sporting club" - for want of a better term - twice a week.

Tonight we had the end-of-year meal, in which all members get dinner at the pub paid for out of the club kitty.

The other members expressed their gratitude to me as convenor by supplying me with alcohol all night.

Does free beer count as free beer if Mr McSpaz buys it? I suppose it's my money too but it feels free when he buys it instead of me. And I reckon if something feels free, it IS free... FREE BEER!!! :partyman:

So long as consumption of said beer leads to a drunken post in Fisho's Frolics thread, I'm happy to classify it as free.

Not tonight, sadly!

Stayed on the Diet Coke all night as had a migraine and it's bad to drink and do drugs at the same time, m'kay. GOD drunk people are bloody annoying when you're not drunk yourself, though! Mr McSpaz just started his holidays so he's knocked back a few Paleys to celebrate, and so far he has told me eight times that Matthew Richardson is really tall.

Went to the local pub yesterday for a Christmas show.

Watched the cricket from 1pm and there was FREE BEER.

Not your standard tap beer but FREE PREMIUM BEER. Budweiser, Asahi and Boag's Premium.

FREE BEER and FREE NIBBLES and cricket! Paying a physical price today.
