A tough gig for Head as the young bloke with potential in the current team. In the last he might have been blooded with 5 quality bats ahead of him. All teaching by example the importance of concentration and valuing your wicket. It’s such a shambles at the moment of sub quality players with no heart. I think once Head can finally go on with an innings we’ll see him kick on.

Personally I'd rather umpires having the courage of their convictions to make decisions rather than stand there as glorified ball counters and jumper holders. No way was that a bad decision, gutsy decision yes but not a bad one.

It's a game that relies on human decision making and skill execution: batting, bowling and umpriing.

That's what makes it such a great game, best game in the world IMO,

Apart from Flinch every batsman has got a start again this innings and not been able to convert it to anything worthwhile.

So far this series highest score made by an Australian is 72 by Head and Khawaja

Only 8 partnerships over 60 by Australia in which Head has featured in 5 of them

Shaun Marsh was batting brilliantly
Ump gives him out LBW to a ball that I thought was missing leg stump
That innings was prob just enough to give him his 'ump'teenth last chance for the Sydney test

Problem is Marsh is always batting well until he gets out.
He just doesn’t go on with it.

He’s proven he’s not up to this standard.
Had a reasonable career but time too move him on also.

Stan Darsh is a pamphlet, looks impressive but contains sweet f**k all. His brother performs like a Bedford Industries version of their gene pool.
