Re: AFL 2025
My brother has had two major concussions, full memory loss, repeating same questions over and over, etc. Scary.
The worst one was we got belted by 10 goals, and he asked me in the rooms after the game "did we win today?". That one resulted in an overnight stay in hospital.

Re: AFL 2025
Former West Coast Eagles AFL player Adam Hunter has died.
The 43-year-old was found dead in his hometown of Bunbury in Western Australia.
The details surrounding the circumstances of his death are not yet known.
Hunter played 151 games for the Eagles and was part of the side which won the premiership in 2006.
He retired from the AFL in 2009 due to chronic shoulder and knee injuries, but has continued to play in the South West Football League.
Hunter's death is the third in the AFL community this week after ex-Brisbane Lions player Troy Selwood and Essendon VFL coach Dale Tapping both died on Tuesday.

Tom Morris running with Ugle-Hagan to miss the start (at least) of the season.

Why does this game rattle the cage of so many people?
It’s actually both sides, we are all Australians let’s treat each other with respect

Yeah I reckon its a great addition, the pre-season is boring imo and this at least makes it watchable.

Re: AFL 2025
If going to do it at this time of the year, the oppo needs to be different. Either a state team or combined best of the rest or something - no point playing a club team in the pre-season - Longmuir admitting they didnt want to show any types of game plans just makes a mockery of the match (exhibition i know)
