Track down "Street Trash", from the same Director as Meet the Feebles " Why you little hussy "

I had "Brotherhood" in there, but the missus keeps replacing it with "King Of Queens"

I've always had a slight weakness for the odd Troma movie and supposedly Toxic Avenger 4 is meant to be really OTT. On Meet The Feebles I hired it a few times when it first came out, I always remember that rat thing saying to the miss piggy character "you fat slag" and some other crazy muppet that had come back from Vietnam. Wasn't MTF done by that Jackson guy who did the Lord of The Rings movies? I know he did Bad Taste and the hilarious Brain Dead, "I kick ass for the Lord!". Great stuff.

Bad Taste is a classic. "Aren't I lucky; I got a chunky bit!"

And yes, Jackson did MTF.

I just bought seasons 1-3 of Family Ties, looking forward to watching those but more excited about the fact that I just bought the whole six seasons of "THIRD WATCH" for $100.

That was probably one of the best cop type shows ever - craps all over the others.

I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

I've only heard good things about this show but have never investigated. Is it a cop / crime scene show? What makes it so good in your opinion?

It's about cops in the poor end of Baltimore - which isn't a rich city to begin with.
What makes it great?
Strong well written characters.
Clever realistic story lines
Great acting.
Brilliant direction.

That's for starters! :D

I remember when they aired the first series on TV here and I loved it, but they either axed the show or scheduled it for some ungodly hour, so never watched beyond that. It's a box set I must invest in.

Seems most of the shows Foxtel are showing on their Showcase Channel rate highly:

The Tudors
Breaking Bad
John From Cincinatti
The Wire (actually the rating of this is the highest Ive ever seen on IMDB)
Brotherhood
Dexter
Generation Kill
Carrier
Deadwood

(Note: I switched to the channel for reminders of some of these and picked the perfect moment during "satisfaction" :D )
