Thoughts?

Wait until 5:55pm and see what has happened with the Crows AFL line up.

Then back Adelaide anyway.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

If North Melbourne win back South.
If Adelaide win back Adelaide.
Whatever the odds the AFL game is should be the same as this one.

Crows could beat Roos but cop some injuries and hold some players back, so as per others I'd wait til Sat night for a bet

Surely there's room to play the extenuating circumstances card whatever happens.

SOUTH ADELAIDE
Mystery surrounds who South Adelaide coach Brad Gotch will include to face Adelaide in the First Semi-Final at Adelaide Oval on Sunday.
Needing to replace unlucky utility Tyson Brown who will miss the rest of the finals campaign with a hamstring strain, Gotch has included three potential replacements in his 23-man squad.
The most obvious choice is speedy half-back Emmanuel Irra, who not only provides valuable leg speed but is also in strong form having gained 21 disposals in the Reserves Elimination Final.
But Gotch has also called upon experienced utility Nathan Daniel, who collected 20 disposals in the Reserves but also provides great flexibility.
Originally from Woodville-West Torrens, Daniel has played 131 League matches but has not appeared in the Panthers’ best 21 since Round 8.
Adelaide’s multitude of tall, marking forwards has also prompted the naming of forgotten key defender Alex Cailotto.
Cailotto played the Panthers’ first nine League matches of the season but has not played under Gotch since Round 10.

F: Seccull, Eddy, Gotch
HF: Hitchcock, Overall, Barnes
C: Schwarz, Newell, Rankine
HB: Taylor, Fields, Gulden
B: Rose, Crabb, Durdin

R: Bass, Cross, Liddle
INT: Ellison, Daniel, Irra, Cailotto, McMahon
IN: Irra, Daniel, Cailotto
OUT: Brown (hamstring)

ADELAIDE
Adelaide’s leg speed has received a significant boost with Paul Seedsman and Ricky Henderson included for Sunday’s First Semi-Final against South at Adelaide Oval.
Seedsman has recovered from a corked buttock while Henderson is the unlucky player to make way at AFL level for the returning Brodie Smith.
Under the SANFL’s qualification laws, both players will be deemed ineligible should Adelaide’s AFL team lose to North Melbourne in Saturday night’s Elimination Final.
Key defender Alex Keath has recovered from a back injury while Luke Lowden has overcome an ankle ailment which kept him out of the Crows’ 72-point win against Central District last Saturday.
Two development players have been squeezed out of the 23-man line-up – Dylan Schoenmakers and Scott Spriggs.

F: Beech, Dear, Menzel
HF: Knight, Lowden, Milera
C: Seedsman, Grigg, Wigg
HB: van Berlo, Hampton, Henderson
B: Doedee, Otten, Kelly

R: O’Brien, Ellis-Yolmen, Gore
INT: Ramsey, Carey, Keath, Hunter, Greenwood
IN: Seedsman, Lowden, Keath, Henderson
OUT: Spriggs, Schoenmakers

While the Crows result will definitely have some bearing on this clash, my hunch is that the Ravens will try harder than usual to win, regardless. This is owing to the fact that it is finals, and there's a bigger prize than just the two points on offer.
But then again, I tipped 5,000 Crows fans would turn up to support the Ravens last week, so I obviously have unrealistic expectations of them.
Please win Panthers!

He's a Clayton's Captain - the captain you have when you're not having a captain.
