Sporting superstitions mainly.. All pretty weird!
Footy... Was always last player from my team to step onto the ground.
Cricket.... Left pad on first, always. I tap the bat on the ground 4 times as the bowler approaches...
Golf... Always pull a new ball in the first tee...

Re: Weird habits or superstitions etc.
Reading this topic makes me laugh, looks like I have some of the same weird habits/superstitions as others. Good to know I'm not alone lol.
I'm another person who has to have the TV volume at a number divisible by 5.
I'm also the one in my house who stacks the dishwasher a certain way and if someone else does it I will rearrange it.
My big one is the way I organise my clothes, I have them in a rotating order so that I will wear everything equally. My socks, jocks, t-shirts, jumpers, singlets, work clothes, sporting clothes (footy shorts and skins) are all in a rotating order. Pants and shorts are a bit more relaxed with not much of an order.
LM I absolutely love the organization of your drawer! That is outstanding! Similar to that my toolbag/toolbox is organised so I know exactly where everything is.

I've always wondered about the last player on the ground thing. . What happens if there are three players who all have the same thing? So you take it in turns one week you, next week one of the other dudes? Etc Etc...

Fortunately I retired many years ago and I suspect my team mates never knew so it was never a problem for me. I do recall standing at the changerooms door at times pushing blokes out in front of me!

The Mrs, when she makes a coffee if she ain't around to see the kettle finish boiling, well she clicks it down again.
When I make her coffee, most of the time I don't even let the kettle to finish, I pull it off at around the 80-90% stage of its boil

For the last 10 odd years I've been logging onto some random website and dribbling rubbish, via a keyboard, on a myriad of topics like: footy, politics, best beers, places to eat, cricket etc.....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Yes, windows must align.

Can never have just 1 beer .. It's multiple/many or abstinence, no middle ground.

You could be my long lost son LOL.
I'm a very systematic person, I buy socks and jocks that have the days on them and the jocks have to be folded a certain way and stacked in order of when they will get used.

My missus puts milk in first, I put it in last, it is always a point of discussion over breakfast.
A dude at work doesn't let the microwave finish and leaves like 2 seconds on it, it does my bonce in.......................and he has to leave the microwave door open for some reason after use.

Re: Weird habits or superstitions etc.
I can't throw my old t-shirts out. Hence I have about 350, at last count.
When getting dressed for footy, I dressed in order of jocks > shorts > strapping > socks > boots > guernsey (minutes before the game).
I also liked to be just behind the captain as he went on the field. I don't seem to have anything like that I can think of for cricket.
My CDs are all in alphabetical order. While my vinyl is in an entirely different system based upon the type of music (although I have one shelf dedicated to albums from the 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die book).
At Centrals, Collingwood, Reds games I always wear my scarf and I never wash them.

Re: Weird habits or superstitions etc.
Well I subjected to an evening of embarrassment as we cleaned out all of my kitchen cupboards, pantry and freezer last night.
I've been told several times that I have a problem but have always laughed it off and told her that she's delusional, we agreed that anything that didn't have a matching lid had to go, I reckon we had around 80 plastic containers, 25 yoplait 1 litre tubs with lids, 12 2 litre flavoured ice cream containers and more than 20 empty dolmio-like jars floating about.
It was of her opinion that this was a little excessive and cut it back to 20, 3, 3 & 3. The cupboards look great now I must say.
We're sorting my bedroom tonight or tomorrow evening, could be interesting, does anybody want any porn dvd's?
