Well that's unfortunate but explains a fair bit. I'm sure it's just a development issue and could be worked on.

If you’re looking for venue a for trial matches, Londonderry Ave at Salisbury Downs is extremely accessible and have seen their fair share of Games over the years, the locals love to get along and watch, reminiscing about days gone by and what a bunch of crooks Trinity are. Reach out to the club who have been to happy to facilitate over the last few years.

Wow the 28th is early. Not that there is anything wrong with that.
Ended up being a pretty good evening for a trial - little late, and unsual playing in the wet during February, but still was good to get out and have a run around.

More info please Mr Bedgewood

Was it A’s and B’s?
What was the score roughly?

I had the wrong club initially but is my prediction of WC being in the GF potentially around the mark?

I’m chomping at the bit for our trials to start. It’s an average time of year to be a footy manager with a lot of stuff to do every day.

West Croydon played 2x squads (A + B) three quarters each, Ingle Farm played one large squad mixed grades.

Didn't keep track of scores, but would think Ingle Farm would've won the initial 3 quarters, the 4th quarter fairly even and then West Croydon blew us away - would've been around 6 goals in the 5th period, and prob much the same in the last with a lot of tired legs.. so would say overall prob a 12 goal win to WC.

Hard to get a read, they looked pretty slick at times West Croydon, and a good side for D7 - but we also had a lot of tired legs, bunch of kids and B/C graders playing, and we are in for a long year anyway.

If the boys from Fitzroy jump ship back to West Croydon they'll prove tough. They certainly have better depth than recent years

Good hit out yesterday between SNorf and Broadies at Central United. Followed by our Women taking on Hope Valley In A Women’s game where both clubs ran through very large squads.

The B/C grade game was a good contest with it going down to the wire. Both clubs got 1 injury but good to hear both lads are fine.
I only got to watch the half the A grade but again a good contest. Both clubs trying plenty of new talent. I heard Broadies may have had as many as 12 new faces. I think SNorf had 6 or 7 new faces across the 2 games. Number 33 for the Tigers was very impressive. A good day all round and great to have the footy back. Well done to the handsome and brilliant footy manager for booking early games as it got real hot in the afternoon.

Good luck to the Tigers and the Demons for the year and thanks for a good day of footy. Have mentioned it elsewhere but really appreciate the use of the facilities by the Units. With these Div 1 lads they probably sold more Gatorade tha beer.

Got around to a few games over the weekend - amazing how much time you have when you have nothing to do haha!

Houghton v Central United Friday - was probably my favourite game, although didn't stay for the whole match. Both sides look good - fast, slick ball movement. Units had the better of the Raiders early but couldn't capitilise. Rander across half back was imposing, Cam Schutz is still a machine in the ruck - his tap work and around the ground efforts as so bloody good. Both sides will be around the mark this year in their division I suspect.

Para Hills vs Morphett Vale - The Roos pretty comfortable in both games over the Emu's. Both sides looked reasonably young, and some dangerous players. MV just couldn't capitilise inside 50, and a number of turnovers coming back into the corridor. Para Hills sling shotting or turnover got them reasonable looks forwards.

Rosewater vs SMOSH - Rosewater looked reasonable early, but SMOSH kicked into gear after the main break and seemed to have control for the remainder, were comfortably in front when I left. Rosewater looked pretty good though considering their "outs", SMOSH looked to have a pretty balanced side across the park and would be eye balling finals I think as a minimum.

SNorf played TTG in all 3 grades and they were good contests. Score not that relevant but Gullies in the C grade and Hawks in the B and A grade. As per trial standard ops both teams with 5-6 out and due to meet in Round 1 so not too much weight on the scoreboard.

The main event though was the 4th game of the Quad header for the Javor-Bedgewood Cup as the Lady Hawks took on Ingle Farm Bulldogs. Huge thanks to Bedgey, Dalton and the girls for stepping into to fill the void left by a late withdrawal from another club. We ended up loaning players to make it even. As much fun as you could have on a footy field and a game played in great spirits. SNorf won the invisible Cup but footy was the real winner. 8)

My Sincere Apologies Mark :D

I'm hearing a few trial games are happening next Wednesday and Thursday with the odd timing situation of Season start dates in conjunction with Easter and GatheringAround

Unsure where to put this but noticed the C5-8 divisions have been completely removed from PlayHQ, anyone have an insight into a potential reshuffle?
