so we're getting scores from a father at the game, then phones his son in america, who then puts up the scores on this web site for all of us to see who's winning. how's that for media coverage for safooty members

Re: Scores: South Adelaide vs Sturt - Sunday 3rd June
Was at the game, and a comprehensive win by Sturt in most facets of the game. The final margin of 50 points summed things up very well. Chambers had a day out with 7.4, and two out on the full, so could have easily been ten or more, but clearly the difference on the day. Crane outstanding also, with powerful running through midfield and forward to finish with three. Feast wound the clock right back; as the oldest player on the ground, was clearly one of the top three out there all day, dropping back into defence a number of times and taking important grabs. Gum also very influential, and Nelson would also have to be getting under the umps eye with another dominant display. A number of the kids really stood up; Kurtze, Hurse, Darling, Herring and Crane have played 40 games between them, but all really growing.
South seem to have the personnel at their disposal, so hard to line up where they are at. Two goals apiece to Maddox and C. Sampson (the latter being arguably their best player). Prendergast battled hard in ruck for much of the day, McGlone and Clarke tried hard. Very impressive debut from Simon Wunkara - the stats might not be massive, but did a number of clever one percenters throughout to suggest he should stay at that level. One of the only times I've seen Carlile clearly outpointed, Chambers got away (admittedly to beautiful pinpoint delivery) all day. Just not sure about their finishing at this point, and there appears to be not much voice out there, judging by the number of players rushed their disposal when clear.

Re: Scores: South Adelaide vs Sturt - Sunday 3rd June
in the few games ive seen south play this year it seems they rotate the players in the midfield quite regularly, but rest them on the bench and not in a forward pocket.....
