With the massive rent increases how much money are the real estate agents collecting.
Property managers are actively telling their landlords to cash in, ***k the tenants and put rents up to a ridiculous amount.
The more rent money, the more the property managers get for no more work or effort.

I reckon one of the admins (possibly the owners) got sick or something a few months back but there's literally been no explanation out there as to what's happened to that business or page that I can find.

If you're in the local sports media industry, the SA Footballer Facebook page had a strong following due to the content submitted by clubs announcing their recruits.

The "journalism" produced outside of the submitted content was pretty entry level but the huge following on social media left admins with an extremely inflated sense of self importance and given some of the responses on here, a few people have had personal dealings and experienced similar.

While acknowledging the huge throng of online followers, the business then sold advertising into its publications under false readership claims, suggesting in all their marketing they had 155,000 readers of their magazine - which is of course, a huge lie.

So misleading businesses into paying for advertising on the back of false readership claims is among some of the garbage that went on.

Anyway, the streaming coverage of games, I think was pretty popular and from what I could tell, it looked like the best thing they were doing.

Is any of that continuing? Where has this online tyrant disappeared to?

Most real estate property management businesses charge between 6% and 9% of the weekly rent, so if the rent goes up from $500/week to $540/week, they don't make that much more.
The real money is when someone moves out,
they charge a re-letting fee, I think it's 1 or 2 weeks rent.
Where the BIG money is when they build up their rent roll to let's say 200 properties, then sell 1/2 of it to another property management organisation,
each property can be worth a couple of thousand dollars & if you sell 100 properties, you're in da money.

$40pw x say 25 properties isn't chicken feed. 52k a year.
A property manager I know confirmed the re-letting fee. Hence why they don't renew leases at times.
Why would they.? Kick out the tenant, get a new one and put the rent up $100 a week.
These ****ers wouldn't be allowed to play with Ned Kelly.
Some of the rentals for an absolute shit box in a crappy street are crazy priced.
Contributes to people's poor mental health, stress, and the cost of living pressure

Property managers should get a flat fee not indexed to the rent they receive. It costs no more to manage a $500 pw house than it does to manage $1000pw property does it?
