You don't usually keep someone in the team that has averaged below 30 for 4 out of the past 5 years. His hundreds in that period have come in Perth when he came in when India were well on top and in draws when the pitches were incredibly flat. He should have been dropped 2 years ago like Pujara and Rahane were.

Regardless of any rumours, innuendo, disharmony or whatever, most people would want to see 2 teams battle it out at full strength, firing on all cylinders for the final Test of the series … and may the best team win.

Probably the only sport in the world where this is actually valid, it was always a weird feeling as a skipper going over for the toss hoping that you'd lose it.

Their sports events are attended by theatre goers. Probably need to be told on the scoreboard when to applaud
