The guy who laid the bump played this weekend. Find that hard to fathom.

Rosewater - Fitzroy (A), Blackfriars (H), West Croydon (A), Para Hills (H), Ingle Farm (H)
St Pauls OS - Blackfriars (A), West Croydon (H), Ingle Farm (A), Adel Lutheran (A), Para Hills (H)

Para Hills - Houghton (A), Adel Lutheran (H), Fitzroy (A), Rosewater (H), St Pauls (A)
Blackfriars OS - St Pauls (H), Rosewater (A), OSB Lonsdale (A), West Croydon (H), Houghton (H)
Houghton - Para Hills (H), Fitzroy (A), Adel Lutheran (H), OSB Lonsdale (H), Blackfriars (A)

If we assume Lutheran and West Croydon wont win another game, and that Fitzroy are unlikely to drop a game, OSB Lonsdale have the best run home playing both 9th and 10th and having already played Fitzroy for the 2nd time. St Pauls would be eyeing off 2nd spot as they also play both the bottom sides, and also get Fitzroy and Para Hills at home which give them great hope.

Rosewater might have a bit to say though - they play 4 of their last 6 at home and would start favourites in 5/6.

Para Hills look to have the toughest run home - 4/6 on the road including the next two against sides fighting for a finals spot.

Houghton have a reasonable run home - they host Fitzroy at home where they're hard to beat, and finish the season with 3 very winnable games.
Updated run home.. well not much has changed from how I see it playing out - St Pauls knocking off Fitzroy has them in a great position to claim the 2nd spot, but Rosewater continuing to get results.

BOS were good for a half on the weekend but faded, the Farmers doing enough at the moment but they finish the season with the other 4 of the other current top 5 sides.

Ladder after Round 13
22 - Fitzroy
18 - Ingle Farm
18 - Rosewater
18 - St Pauls OS
14 - OSB Lonsdale
--------------------------

12 - Para Hills
12 - Blackfriars OS
12 - Houghton
02 - Adelaide Lutheran
02 - West Croydon

Round 14:
Ingle Farm vs Adelaide Lutheran
Fitzroy vs Rosewater
Houghton vs Para Hills
Blackfriars OS vs St Pauls OS
West Croydon vs OSB Lonsdale

Two really exciting games that will be viewed closely - Fitzroy vs Rosewater at Mt Fitzroy, and Houghton vs Para Hills - the lose drops likely 2 games back from 5th heading into the final month.

St Pauls coming good at the right time and with their best player still to come back. They’ll be serious contenders imo.

Fitzroy apparently have a few key outs, will be tested by Rosewater again this weekend.

Ingle Farm have done enough and I don’t think anyone should overlook them.

4 horse race imo.

On face value it's easy to agree - but I certainly wouldn't be discounting whoever finishes 5th.

This year every week has been an arm wrestle (except perhaps West Croydon).

We (Ingle Farm) dropped games to Houghton (8pts), BOS (21pts) and OSB (21pts) who are either 5th or below.. yet on the flip side beat St Pauls and Rosewater.

Para Hills lost the first two rounds by a goal, Houghton have one of the most potent attacks and Blackfriars I thought looked the fittest and fastest of the 3.

OSB Lonsdale look most likely to finish 5th - I'd be cautious running into them also - Rigney, Loveridge, Wurst is a dangerous forward line.. then guys like Kaesler, O'Loughlin, Hodge and Teasdale.. they have a good looking team.

It's a very very even competition. Should be a cracking finals series, and that 2nd place is going to be super critical to clubs hopes of promotion.

B Grade competition looked very good and even also earlier in the season, until Adel Lutheran broke away.

Still does look very tight amongst the rest - ingle Farm lost to Rosewater (1pt) and Houghton (5pts) in very tight tussles.

Interested to see how Ingle Farm vs Adelaide Lutheran unfolds this week, but you'd have to think Luthies would win comfortably.

Farmers probably finish 4th after close loses - the last 5 games includes matches against 1, 2, 5, 6 and 9 on the ladder.

Houghton with 2, 5, 7, 8, 9 should win 4/5.

Adelaide Lutheran must have a very even spread of players in the same calibre, it must be frustrating for them as a club to be struggling in the A Grade but so much more advanced in the B grade, they need to have an A and a half Grade.

I feel like they are a pretty even club across all three sides.

Jaiya Warrior could be playing A grade though - 57 goals in B grade is a fair return.

Rest of the side, not a lot jumps out as being genuine A grader.

The forwards obviously picked themselves with goals kicked. How do you pick the rest? Reputations, form against Ingle Farm that you've seen this year?

I second the question. I wouldn’t want to have to try pick a team haha.

I feel like it mostly becomes who has been named in the best from the top 5 the most… plus whoever has kicked the most goals.I don’t really subscribe to whoever has kicked the most goals always being the ‘best’, although I understand that’s how it works (and in this case Weetra, Doolan and Rigney absolutely should be there - dominant).

Also interested in who you couldn’t fit in. I’d struggle to have less than 30 names from what I’ve seen of the Div (or any Div).

I just make it up, mostly based off what I’ve seen this year against Ingle Farm.. just a point for discussion.

Could make a case for another 20 players to be honest.. don’t think there is a right or wrong answer, and obviously each club would have better idea of their best players.

The forward 6 I think have been the most danger and potent of the forwards I’ve seen this year (Gibbs unlucky). Lots of good mids getting around too.

Brincat is the best ruck I’ve seen though, single handedly won the game for BOS earlier in the year.. but he’s missed a fair chunk with injury so overlooked.

Interested to see what other people think who should be in there.
