“You can understand Usman Khawaja trying to wind the clock down so he didn’t have to face another over, but then you have got Sam Konstas trying to get involved,” Waugh said.

“I don’t know whether it is naive enthusiasm or that’s just the way he has always played his game through the juniors and likes to have high energy and get involved in the game, but really there was no need for Sam to get involved there.

“I think he should have bit his tongue and it’s got nothing to do with him actually and it might have broken the concentration of Khawaja."

Mark Waugh. Good judge.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

Bloke made 2 50s last test. These pitches with the new kookaburra balls have made batting alot harder in australia, which honestly has made cricket much better to watch here. Ruins blokes batting averages though.

I agree, it did look like an air gap, but he had no choice but to give that out when snicko spiked.
Dunno, I’m just an idiot.

If it broke Khawaja concentration it says how seriously close he is to his test career ending.

Next they'll be pinning the JFK assassination on Konstas.

I’m watching on 80cm tv and I swear I could see a gap lol

It was mentioned in the commentary yesterday but how does snicko tell the difference between an edge and the shoe spikes scratching the surface.

Bumrah first 11 balls all around 135, last three to Konstas 140…

And it was the 140km that were scored off!!! Maybe Konstas enjoys the extra pace.

All I’m saying is, Konstas on strike is induced an extra effort out of the best bowler this series

1-2% extra effort can be all that is required at this level

As I type he ramps a 140 which I don’t mind as it is bat doing the talking
