Re: Preliminary Final teams.

North come back strong and to their credit were well on top. Fact of it is that they did have 19 players for just over 4 minutes at the start of the last quarter. Nothing will come of it because the SANFL are weak as piss and will fall back on terminology of an out dated rule. The interchange steward was notified at the time, but more interested in watching the game than doing his job. For the so called, second best comp in Australia, it lacks the balls to make the right call. Legal action will play out here.........

The irony is so ridiculously funny.

As Godden said at presentations, for 5 minutes it was mayhem in the coaches box because they couldn't work out how North were continually getting a free player. They wouldn't be expecting to have to deal with an extra player the opposition has put on the field.
Eagles need to overhaul game plan and list as it is fragile in finals. 2nd, 2nd, 3rd and 3rd in the past 4 years shows they haven't learnt what is required to go the whole way.

There's that many in the coaches boxes these days, surely one of them could have had a count

I hope everyone joins us North supporters in having a minutes silence at the 19 minute mark of the Grand Final in sympathy for Eagles supporters.

If the game goes for 119 minutes we will also spend 119 seconds thinking about Power supporters. God bless them.

Apparently the Eagles raised the issue but didn’t specifically ask for a head count

Bwaaaaaaaah

This just keeps on giving.

Common sense is to work out what 4 minutes with an extra player is worth and deduct it??? Irrespective of what they scored/momentum etc.

Protest 2nd v 1st

It will be a pity if lawyers have to get involved. Surely the SANFL can get this right

Great day, was awesome to have Josh Francou join the pre match Grog Squad BBQ wearing his Sydney gear.
Awesome seeing Scotty Bamford on the way out who was stoked I remembered his goals for Geelong against the Power at Footy Park and his goal in the prelim for North in the 00's. I even had two of North's young stars Mums join me and introduce themselves to me.
Throw in $140 I had on North which paid for the day.
A great birthday! 8)

Glad you're happy to break the rules aka cheating and claim the win because of some antiquated ruling.

Copy and paste on here

For a period of time during today's game North Adelaide had 19 men on the field and during that time they scored 8 points.... we lost by 5 points ....furthermore the free kick count was 30 to North and 17 to Eagles.... the combination of the '19 man cheat' and the rigged umpiring is a clear sign that the SANFL wanted North to get through in order to maximize grandfinal attendance as woodville has a much smaller support base.... for the SANFL not to correct the ruling of victory is an absolute unfathomable disgrace.... the sway of finances has trumped the basic rules of the great game which so many hold dear.... there are literally no words.... please share this post as many times as possible... there are lawyers looking at the fine print as we speak!
