Re: US
I was listening to some US Professor this morning.
He used to work for the Dems and reckons the polls are $hite
Also reckons Trump will win 5 swing states
He's tipped Trump
More important question...........
Do I buy or sell Index stocks?

Re: US
I suspect she wins relatively easily in the end, his support is rapidly collapsing, and he is completely unravelling (somehow worse than normal).
The real problem will be the chaos he sows from election day until Jan 6, and the cowardice from Republicans who will either support his lies or not say or do anything.
Liz Cheney is mid 2022 … "Tonight, I say this to my Republican colleagues who are defending the indefensible: There will come a day when Donald Trump is gone, but your dishonor will remain,"

Re: US
Unfortunately, the US is so partisan and divided, it’s no surprise that many people believe in lies and conspiracies. Couple that environment with the dumbest nation on Earth, and here we are.
News Corp is still relentlessly trying to prop Trump up, whether it be through Fox News and its other media and newspaper outlets the US, or through the NewsCorp media outlets in Australia.
Despite all that, the fact that he even became the a Republican Presidential nominee (again), and then to be competitive in the race to the Whitehouse just boggles the mind.
It’s a phenomenon that will be studied and reported on for many, many years, and the rear view mirror will not be kind to a lots of the ‘co-conspirators’ who helped seed, grow and ultimately embrace and sustain the lunacy that is Trump, who has always been a con artist and fraud for his entire existence.
I don’t care whether the House, Senate or President is Republican or Democrat … but none of those should be inhabited and corrupted by people like Trump and his acolytes.
When he hopefully loses, his life will very quickly spiral in the abyss with the !aw finally catching up to his corruption and crimes, without the ‘protection’ of the Presidency.
The flaws in the US Federal and State constitutions and election laws have been laid to bare by the actions of a Trump and his enablers. Unfortunately, the extremely partisan nature of US politics, coupled with those flaws, mean that many of them will never be mitigated.
If he does somehow win, then all power to the US electorate, you get what you deserve.
What a steaming faarking mess.

A lot like all the left luvvies losing it because they think the ABC has gone all right wing
It's not that it's being impartial that upsets them, it's just that they think it's no longer a left leaning broadcaster - the irony

There is no equivalency between Fox and CNN/MSNBC.
Fox News is akin to a State Media agency in the former USSR, North Korea or China … its presenters are unilaterally partisan. CNN and MSNBC are not without flaws, but they do not exhibit the extreme partisan politics of Fox News.
CNN, MSNBC or other media outlets didn’t encourage and participate in the blatant lies and conspiracies like Fox News have and continue to. None of those media outlets were sued and ultimately had to fork out $787M in a settlement with Dominion Voting Systems.
Yes, there is a clear difference.

Fox has said in the past it's an entertainment network not a news one. It's common knowledge Fox is pure nonsense

Re: US
Look at what Sean Hannity, Jesse Watters and Laura Ingraham said in private as opposed to what they projected on screen on Fox during the Jan 6 riots says it all.
Then there’s Tucker Carlson. I will give some credit to Fox, Carlson was even too radical for them and they punted him.
As stated above, none of them are journalists.
Name me one presenter from CNN or MSNBC who had their texts revealed by the Congressional Jan 6 Committee which showed that they in private, were in direct contact with Trump Whitehouse officials denouncing what was happening at the Capitol and pleading for Trump to do something to stop it, whilst at the same time presenting an alternative Trump universe on air in public.

Ann Selzer breaking the internet …

Probably not as outlandish as it first seems … Iowa voted Democrat in the Presidental elections of 1988, 1992, 1996, 2000, 2008 and 2012. In the last 36 years, they have only voted Republican in 2004, 2016 and 2020 .

Dedj’s prediction KoD
Harris to win all 7 swings states to win 316-218, results to be declared by Thurs US time.
Dems to flip the House, Republicans to flip the Senate.
Trump to fraudulently claim victory early on election night, and then squeal like a stuck pig for 2 months until the results are certified by Congress on Jan 6.

Re: US
First official results from the 6 Dixville Notch voters in New Hampshire.
Harris - 3
Trump - 3
The election is currently a dead heat.
Waiting for Trump to declare it rigged.
