Re: Things that give you the sh1ts
I don't know whether this makes me laugh or give me the shits, I cooked up a rib-eye fillet roast last night to slice up and put in with our salad for work lunches only to discover that most of it was gone this morning.
First I thought the kids must've found it and had a bit of a feed on it but I just found out that one of them gave it to the cat and dog for dinner.
Only about $20 worth of premium meat cooked at 150 degrees so it melted in your mouth was given to them, lucky they left some for us.

I have to, it's my fault for not labeling or hiding it, for not unpacking the dog food from the shopping bag and we went to bed early and the kids know not to bother us once we troddle off.

I was at f****** work you numpties.
Make an appointment
Our electricity meter is inside in the laundry.
So I have to ring them to make a time for them to read it otherwise they just estimate my bill based on last years usage.
Anyway every time I ring them to make an appointment they say we will be there between......... get this, between 9am on the 1st of the month and 5pm on the 10th of the month.
WTF!
I always say no probs see you then.
Needless to say I don't get it read very often!
There are no stupid questions, just stupid people.

I know. I like accusing people who don't swear much of swearing.
When Nan pulls me up on swearing, I tell her I got it from her when she babysat me. She never swears, and takes great offence when accused.
Now my brothers have caught on to it and do it too whenever she pulls them up. It's hilarious when we're at family BBQs.

I only turned my heating on for the first time this year on Saturday and last night didn't bother with it. Toughen up and put a jumper on you have a 6 star energy rated home

Re: Things that give you the sh1ts
Nice, my dissent is due to kids lack of ability of turning light switches off.
It will bite me on the arse though as last night I had to negate a stairwell with a dogleg whilst carrying two full glasses of CC's in pretty much pitch blackness.
I end up taking their globes out in their rooms for a couple of days when I get sick of constantly telling them.
