Isn't there a winery around Reynella, I went to a 21st there once. Great venue - was a wine cellar. By my recollection there were some vineyards there too. But you are right, the urban sprawl means there are very few there now.

The St Francis winery, right next to Reynellas ground.Yes I forgot that lol.Even though I have been to 3 weddings (Including our A grade ruckmans) there in the past 5 years.Yes you are correct its a great venue from what I remember (Not too much)

Yeah, he coached Hope Valley from 1998-2001
Also heard Millikan is leaving or has left, any truth to that?
been to a few trianings and im looking forward to the season under terry, in regards to millikan i wouldnt know if he's left untill towards of the seaosn coz im not in the know-all of the clubs happenings i'll find out from team member sim sure, but if its true we have plenty of foward options to cover him and if he has left it would indeed be a big loss

Do all those St Marks boys you have come together and are you likely to lose them as well?

leading goalkicker in div 6 with nearly 90 goals would be a huge hole to cover..where is he going?
i know a couple of guys that play at elizabeth, they tell me they have almost signed chris packham and are a bit excited about it. does anyone know if he's any good?
Chris Packham was a gun junior. A very good junior. Could've played at Centrals. Diminutive rover. Went with Brendan Donnelly to Gepps Cross as a teen (might have been when Shane Stokes was involved with the B grade there). Not sure where he went after that, but I understand injuries may have slowed him down since. He'd be about 27 now. When I knew him was a great lad and was a big loss to the Eagles at the time. They'd be happy to have him back.

Packy went out to TTG for a few years after Gepps Cross. He has since had a baby (well, his wife has anyways!!!), and came back to play a few B Grade games at athe Gully over the past couple of years.
A great in and under player. I don't think he has ever stood in the back row of a team photo, but what he lacks in height he makes up for in skill and footy brains. He's a top bloke from a great footy supporting family.
Injuries have slowed him down, but he still would get plenty of the ball in Div 5, and you can never replace a footy brain like his.

Correct on all fronts DW....Packy is a top bloke, won an A grade division medal aswell when he was at Gepps....very handy pick up for Elizabeth if true.
He was. Got cleared from Elizabeth in 2005 I think. Played first half of season in A grade, then unfortunately injured a knee. Very good player who never quite got the most of himself.

Losing Milikan would be a massive loss to Blacks. He was the difference in the Grand Final last year. Our match up with him didnt work and had our backline shuffling all day. Rowan Shenton will be dissapointed to hear if it is true. He was looking forward to squaring the ledger after some excellent battles with him last year.
Just another note regarding GG....Sheppard is doing very well out at centrals at the moment and could see reserves footy before he sees 19's footy! Hopefully one of the pickups we have made can cover him as i expect him to be away a fair bit of the season.
